History
- In the 1970s, the committee of the Japanese Union of Scientists and Engineers (JUSE) analyzed a large set of existing management techniques and tools, selecting from among them the so-called "seven new management and planning tools". In the mid-1980s, they are added systematically in the Quality Function Deployment (QFD) application.
