There are many texts that have been written on the subject and it has been approached from different perspectives, however I dare to briefly reflect on an aspect that seems to me of great importance for those of us who day by day look for lights to continue being the owners of a destination that it is up to us to live in the midst of so many confusing and conflictive situations.

In this sense, it is worth remembering that leadership, more than a theory, is an invitation to discover the actions that will allow us to develop our natural abilities, that is, to enhance our strengths.

We have always heard that "you lead by example" and it is precisely this phrase that brings together the components of an effective leadership capable of mobilizing the will of all those who share the dream of those who assume the responsibility of being at the forefront of projects that are assumed in a personal, collective or social way.

The example becomes a reference that is multiplied in who are the followers of an idea, but it also has to do with the responsibility that the leader assumes because his behavior is not only judged but also imitated and that is how actions appear in Sometimes they can end in conflict.

Leaders assume the direction and point the way, which indicates that their actions generate an impact on those who follow them, they trust that the end of the road is clear and therefore it is a path worth traveling.

The leader motivates with his enthusiasm and his ability to decisively resolve the conflicts he encounters in the process of carrying out the project, however it is possible that his behaviors are contradictory and his words do not necessarily correspond with his actions, which makes credibility begin to be undermined and in this sense the people who accompany the leader understand that it is necessary to distance oneself, which makes the initial purposes collapse or at least take longer to achieve.

Finally, it is important to remember that the leader cannot walk the path alone, he must surround himself with capable people in whom he has confidence and who commit themselves in the same way that the leader does in the project, therefore responsibilities must be delegated to them so that internally develop a motivation that leads them to understand that it was worth the risk and that they are also part of the success.

These ideas are an invitation to recognize our own leadership, about who we exercise it, who our followers are and how convinced we are of our project, on the other hand it is also a call to recognize our own leaders and identify how our behaviors have to do with the way our leaders perform every day and how their way of relating, making decisions, solving conflicts, etc… makes us better followers of these ideas and projects every day.
