Today our country faces serious problems that seem to have no solution and, on the other hand, there are innumerable conflicts in which the society influenced by the media is entertained at all levels and on any subject, be it religious, political or sports. (soccer in most cases).
This bombardment of information to society is generating a loss of moral or conscience in individuals which is reflected in a progressive dehumanization, that is, the media have considerably influenced the way of seeing things in such a way that to date almost nothing surprises us, not war, not death, not suffering, not extreme poverty, not hunger and not to mention global warming, crime, attacks, kidnapping, etc. And the list is very long, we only mention some daily examples of the social problems in which we see ourselves daily.
This dehumanization is mainly due to the lack of the fundamental principles and values that the ancient leaders have carried on their shoulders through the years leading by example and with all the suffering that this entails. However, at present the new political leaders live in a fatal incongruity that translates into a poverty of values and in turn in a series of social problems that we mentioned at the beginning.
It is indisputable that the current leaders promote the same authoritarianism that is given by so much nepotism, this in the government sector and in the private companies that work for them. To explain this phenomenon without going into details, we mention the case of a union leader who proposes personnel without the necessary knowledge for certain jobs and in turn the company accepts these proposals, which with the passage of time this company is filling up with personnel "no apt ”with all the consequences that this involves inefficiency, high costs, low productivity, etc. Without pretending to be pessimistic or negative, we can affirm that as long as there are no leaders trained in the practice of virtues and values, our society will not succeed in its needs and the crisis will worsen.
It is important to mention that the success or failure of any organization, company or society is something that is determined by the quality of the leader and in all cases the leaders are responsible for making any organization function properly and successfully. Today the industrial age is behind us, and we have entered the knowledge age, where the world economy revolves around it. We must be careful not to get carried away by the accumulation of knowledge and news, especially if these are exercised from a basis not based on virtues and values. If we want our society to change, we must create a comprehensive educational program in order to ensure that new generations are trained as leaders with social sensitivity and committed to doing good, under the premise of values and knowledge,with guidelines of a conscience based on love of neighbor. It is obvious that it is urgent that procedures be established to ensure an adequate selection of people with positive leadership characteristics, to perform public service functions, especially in transcendent appointments at all levels of politics and professionals for the private initiative, since there are still people with a lot of moral ethics.
We must demand from our leaders a proposal for social improvement to have a more just society, where people are valued for what they are, human dignity is respected and promoted, what we were created for is understood, and we joyfully assume the vocation of service out of love and stop exalting the extravagances of wealth of our former presidents, reaching this level will surely lead us to personal self-realization and as a society.
