Leadership for human beings

Being a leader or acting as such implies a great responsibility, since thousands or millions of destinations are usually in the hands of mass drivers. There are praiseworthy examples and others shameful.

The world would not be what it is without leadership. Given that not all beings evolve at the same rate, and some seem to have a special capacity to lead, leadership emerges as a necessity in the bonding dynamics of people in the world.

Being a leader or acting as such implies a great responsibility, since thousands or millions of destinations are usually in the hands of mass drivers. There are praiseworthy examples and others shameful.

Positive examples such as those of Jesus the Christ, Buddha, Gandhi and Sai Baba contrast with other indisputably questionable ones such as those of Attila, Mussolini or Hitler, whose ideas and actions have sown their historical moments with darkness and owe large doses to their dogmatism and egotism. of death and suffering.

This same egotism has produced a social dynamic in which the privilege of the few has created enormous chaos in the lives of a passive, trusting and yearning majority. Unfortunately, many of the leaders of yesterday and today have lent themselves to sell their power and have served as animators and collaborators in certain events that dishonor the human race and make us doubt the much vaunted "human superiority" over the rest of the kingdom. natural.

Poverty, hunger, ignorance, wars, corruption, exploitation, terrorism, drug trafficking, drug addiction, and other evils, are largely due to the complicity of pseudo-leaders, who act as true marginals of politics, who do not consider the importance of love or love. conscience in their decisions and actions, but instead they privilege the pragmatic and the material, without understanding that the human is and should be the forced destination of every act.

The self-destruction that some "leaders" support requires the determination of each sensitive and awakened person to review guidelines and paradigms, to re-sow seeds of leadership that return to understanding, empathy and compassion, solidarity, parameters that have come to seem romantic stupidities that have been the basis of ancient cultures such as India, Japan and China.

The figures can help us better understand some things: the Commission against World Hunger estimated that the expenditure made on the planet in four days as a result of investment in weapons, would be enough to solve world hunger for a year (slightly more than six billion dollars) which reveals that hunger is a problem perpetuated by the negligence of those who decide, rather than by the lack of sufficient resources.

In the workplace, many companies estimate competitiveness, quality and productivity too much, and forget variables such as: dignity or education of workers. Gandhi said that "in the world there is enough to satisfy the need of all, but not the greed of all." Never as now is Erich From's phrase accurate as follows: "Today's man lives with anesthetized conscience and with an altered scale of values."

We need integral leaders with constructive messages and exemplary preaching, who help their fellow men to develop globally: materially, intellectually, and spiritually. And this can only be done with success as the north, but with happiness. An ecological success that combines achievement and well-being.

To be a leader, a true leader of human beings, requires more than good public speaking, cunning, and power. Sense of mission, soul of a leader, good intention, mental clarity and respect for people, must be part of the leader's moral baggage.

The problems of the world are not economic, since the economy is subordinated to psychology. The result follows the action, the action follows the emotion, which in turn derives from thought. The lack of love in action and a sound judgment of man are the roots of the problem. Without self-esteem, there is no true or lasting leadership. Human leaders fly on selfishness, ignorance and violence. Without the intention of being reductionist: Either we use love or we use fear. Either we indulge ourselves or we serve others with high standards.

The new leader, that of the people, will not only have to define his vision, but will also have to review his ethics and responsibility, the consequences of his actions. He cannot be a predator, a sweet tooth in love with himself, indifferent to the fate of the rest. You should think and feel as a group. You must transcend, be ecological and understand that you are not alone. Of the others, of the cannibals, of the spirit dwarves, we have already had too much.
