How to be a good leader is one of the questions I am asked many times. We have seen how worldwide the great leaders (positive and negative) political, sports, family, salesmen, etc. They have met certain peculiarities that differentiate them from other people.
So I want to help you to synthesize a little those particularities that with perseverance, practice, perseverance and faith we can achieve each and every one of us.
The 20 commandments to be a great leader are:
1. Put more effort on yourself than on your job or business
2. Help others with their work, but teach them how to live
3. Change yourself, so that circumstances change
4. Know your own talents, character, integrity, projection
5. Be attractive, to attract attractive people.
6. Work on the inside without neglecting your outside.
7. Be Wise: Nothing replaces intelligence.
8. Be Strong without being rude: force is attractive, you must make good decisions, have good language, character, vitality, health, etc.
9. Be Kind but never weak
10. Be Risky but don't abuse others. You must be the one to bravely march forward.
11. Be modest but not shy. Modesty is a virtue, shyness is a "disease."
12. Be Humble.
13. Be Reflective
14. Be Proud and never arrogant: Value successes and congratulate others.
15. Accept reality as it is.
16. Be ambitious and compliant: Master small amounts and small gains first to ensure good stewardship with large amounts.
17. Be a good Sower:
- Know what to spend time on and what not to waste it on Discipline disappointment. Losing is inevitable, but you cannot stop sowing. Differentiate what is important from what is urgent.
18. Work with those who deserve it, not with those who need it.
19. Compensate with numbers for what is lacking in technique
20. Inspire with your example and your results.
These commandments on how to be a good leader are based on the teachings of Master Jim Rohn, who has taught me enormously to walk on the thorns of the pursuit of financial freedom.
