Competition has long been one of the greatest enemies in the business world, but this has ceased to be the case, even though many people are determined to continue fearing a nonexistent enemy. That fierce enemy has represented for me a high percentage of my total income that almost always exceeds 50%.

Ever since I made this discovery, I have tirelessly sought out my fiercest competition to ally myself with it, and thanks to that I increased my income with much less effort.

There are people who are afraid to collaborate with the competition because they think that they are going to take away clients, quite the contrary, the competition has their potential client in their database and yours is theirs.

What is going to happen is the following: one that both databases will gain more value, since there will be some clients of yours who will go to theirs, but others will come who have felt more identified with you. And two, the same customer can buy products or services from both partners without prejudice to either.

Strategic alliances are those that can make you earn money from the same competition, or that the competition makes money every time you make a customer thanks to it. Isn't it fantastic? They are previously established agreements in which every time they make a sale through you, they will pay you a commission and you will do the same with them.

Since they do not require exclusivity, you can collaborate with many different companies offering a wide range of products that you could not offer on your own, in addition to being able to give each client a service more tailored to you.

As if this were not enough, you will not have a limit of clients that you can serve, since since you do not have to work for them, there are no infrastructure or time limits. Customers to whom you sell competing products, mean making money without working and legally without deceiving anyone. What's fantastic? You who were afraid of competition and you have to see what you were missing.

Harness the power of the internet

The Internet is one of the best sources to attract clients from all over the world and is especially necessary with the strategic alliances that I told you about in the previous section. Precisely thanks to the network, alliances can be established such as link exchange, placing ads on each other's social networks on the respective walls of each one.

But everything does not stop there, it also allows you to control the clients that you pass on to the competition and those that the competition passes to you, without there being any misunderstanding, or possibilities of deceit by any of the parties. That's what affiliate programs and exclusive links are for, in which the system itself pays commissions directly to each party.

Just because you take the internet, does not mean that you give up the street market, in fact the two can coexist, and they must. But do not turn your back on the internet, because you will be digging the grave of your business.

Creativity will help you carry out the best strategic alliances. There are many ways to collaborate, I have presented some, but there are no limits, where the imagination reaches and both parties accept.

Creativity in this sense is developed by collaborating and doing it with more than one different company, since it will give you an experience that will stimulate your ability to generate new collaboration ideas.
