Due to the need of today's organizations, regarding being better every day I want to talk about MANAGEMENT ANALYSIS

ADMINISTRATIVE (AGAD), based on my experience in the application of this wonderful administrative tool and the study of its theory by Dr. José Ruiz Roa in his book entitled "Foundations for the analysis of administrative management" this tool undoubtedly some of them provide great value to the management and results of any entity.

For managers, having a current knowledge of the organization will always represent a great value and very necessary, and that is because having a total or partial analytical review of the entity in order to specify its level of performance and outline opportunities For improvement, it can open the floodgates to innovation, create competitive advantages, better processes, increase productivity and be more effective.

Dr. Roa tells us that the Administrative Management Analysis is an examination of the administrative structure or its components to assess the degree of efficiency and effectiveness with which planning, organization, coordination, direction, execution and execution are being complied with. control of the objectives set by the company to correct any deficiencies that may exist, tending to its continuous improvement, optimizing productivity until achieving total quality and its control. Through the best use of available resources according to procedures framed within the rules and policies of the true administration.

From the beginning of its application, it is aimed at correcting deficiencies in the organization and, of course, it produces improvements in administrative operations to optimize processes, productivity, time, costs and achieve the desired quality.

Regarding the objectives of the AGAD we have to:

  • Identify areas where improvements can be substantial. Verify the production of your services and the resources of that production, and thus see the results that have been achieved. Determine weaknesses in administrative methods or procedures. Detect areas where it is possible to achieve remarkable economies.

And regarding the stages we have that there are:

An initial planning stage: in which the respective initial meeting was held with the senior management of the organization under the AGAD.

Then a preliminary examination is carried out, which includes a tour of the company's facilities. The examination of internal control is also considered, determining the critical areas.

Subsequently, an in-depth examination of these areas is applied according to previous analyzes.

And Finally, the conclusions and recommendations that were presented with the Final Report are written.

As for the main characteristics of the AGAD we have that they are According to Ruíz Roa (1995):

  • That the goal is to achieve a more effective or functional Administration. Guide from the point of view of business, the present, past and future of the entity. Achieve that the scope of AGAD covers a specific operation or function in the entity. Measure the entity's Operations Management principles, based on the entity's Operations Management techniques.

When applying this administrative tool, care must be taken to ensure that it forms part of a change strategy that requires a clear decision at the highest level and a consensus of wills aimed at achieving an organization's ability to evolve.

This study will determine if acceptable policies and procedures are carried out; If the established norms are followed, thus identifying opportunities for improvement within the company and corrective actions, an evaluation of the performance of the collaborators will also be carried out and the Administration will be oriented in its policies and objectives, towards an adequate efficient use of resources. Likewise, it will seek to maximize results that add to strengthening its development, under the concepts of utility, efficiency, cost reduction, profit, competitiveness, risk reduction, among others.

The systematic analysis of each and every one of the aspects involved in its execution demands the establishment of an entire infrastructure that makes possible the flow of sufficient, relevant information that helps to count on decision elements and expected quality at the appropriate time.

Carrying out an analysis like this requires research, to penetrate into the most hidden of its essence to take advantage of experiences and transform them into knowledge, in order to understand where an organization is located, what it was made to be there, where it started from and towards. where you want to go.

The ideal when applying the AGAD is to have a multidisciplinary and high-performance team, where the project leader has a broad overview that seeks to see and perceive the forest instead of the trees, who has experience and knowledge about this tool. and of course, in administration and management, this service must add value to the organization, must provide management solutions, that is, provide a set of alternatives or administrative strategies for management to take on, aimed at responding to certain problems that were detected in the different areas of an organization, thus achieving effectiveness, productivity and economy in procedures, functions and activities, in my opinion and without any doubt the correct application of this tool will take the organization to another level, and it would be very valuable for us as managers to study it, apply it to get the most out of it and have effective organizations.
