Little by little, and increasingly, companies follow a vertical and horizontal communication policy, inter and intradepartmental, with a more flexible and fluid structure. The quality of a company depends on its communication.

This does not mean that the hierarchy is removed, it will always exist, however, the doors of senior managers will not remain closed and any idea will be well received and evaluated. These changes coincide with a greater presence of women in managerial positions in companies. Although their presence is still quite minority, their influence is noticeable in those companies that have women in decision-making positions.

Although it is difficult, delicate and cannot make any firm statement, between men and women there is a difference of nature in the way of thinking and directing, not just a difference in role.

In general, an organization that generates fear is, properly speaking, masculine. A culture that builds trust is more feminine, and that is the culture that every company needs for the near future. The masculine approach is more rational, hard, logical. Quickly analyze and judge. Create fear, because between the lines is the threat of punishment. A dictator is always a man.

The woman provides understanding, dialogues better, listens well, places little emphasis on her authority, and her vision is more humanistic, comprehensive and comprehensive. Your level of commitment, patience, flexibility and cooperation is higher. A woman understands a man much better than a man understands a woman.

The woman has a more intuitive character, by nature, increased by the role that has always been attributed to her and that has forced her to a continuous fight for equal rights.

From my experience as an attitudinal educator, I have been able to appreciate that women generally move on a higher plane than men. That is, when a man listens, she only thinks about what the other is saying, however, the woman goes further and does not stay on the surface, in what you have said, but thinks about what you want to say.

For us, who do a formation of attitudes, behaviors, leadership, it is an added advantage. For example, for a technical course, such as an Internet course, just listen to the explanations, do some exercises and learn how to navigate. However, when what we have to do is train leaders, there are no precise rules, it is necessary to have the theory, but it is also essential that each person self-evaluate and be able to change the way they act.

We are not talking about structured processes, we are talking about mentality changes, and for that we must know how to listen and ask. The woman by nature is a communicative being, when she doesn't know something she asks, she doesn't mind communicating her doubts.

The joke is typical, of the man who is asked for an address and, although he does not know it, gives a thousand directions on how to get there. While a woman admits that she does not know where the address is. Although we are talking about an exaggeration, it has a certain background. When a man has doubts, he generally "locks himself in his cave" and ponders the answer. However, the woman communicates her doubt and finds the solution more easily.

On the other hand, women have always had a more precise concept of time than men, due to their own biological cycles, they are able to plan better than men, who have a more day-to-day concept of time. Companies increasingly make their long-term strategic plan, leading to better results.

In my opinion, a managerial leadership must be made up of men and women, since the different characters make them complement each other. As in a marriage, the roles have changed, but are still complementary, in companies the situation increasingly goes towards that situation. There are no jobs for men and women, there are ways of looking at the things of men and women, and neither of them is the right or the wrong one, but nevertheless the two together, do come very close to the truth.

From our company, this new reality that we have been experiencing for some years now and that is in constant and dizzying evolution is appreciated. In our workshops, which seek the integration and development of management committees, more and more women stand out for this ability to receive the most abstract content such as ethical and attitudinal considerations, and it is not difficult to foresee that many of them will occupy a future, by no means distant, the high positions of the most prestigious companies around the world.

When there is equal opportunity, the female presence is 50%. However, it seems excessive that at a managerial level the proportion of women is less than 4%.

A woman at the head of the Spanish government? Incredulous the one that dismisses it as impossible. We bet on it.
