Organizations learn through people, so it is necessary to encourage their learning to achieve corporate strategic objectives.

Learning provides great advantages to those organizations that decide to implement a philosophy oriented to the development of this discipline, some of these advantages are mentioned below:

- Strengthening of the cultural identity of the organization

- Increased capacity to resolve conflicts

- Increased internal integration of different corporate processes

- Increased integration of the organization with its environment

- Increased effectiveness (efficiency + effectiveness) in the organization's processes

- Greater ability to adapt to market demands

- Better quality of work life and active participation of all members

- Transparency and efficiency in communications

- Increased levels of competitiveness

Learning can be defined as the ability to build and acquire knowledge, from different activities that we find grouped into training, experience and collaboration, which must be articulated.

In this way, we see that a person who is preparing to learn to drive a vehicle must recognize the basic concepts (training), put them into practice driving the vehicle (experience) and finally integrate them with the tacit and explicit knowledge of other drivers with those who interact on the tracks (collaboration).

In this way, we find that organizations that seek to align themselves with the demands of the knowledge society must develop a collective intelligence, be able to generate knowledge and subsequently use it in value-building processes for all their stakeholders.

In the corporate learning process, it is important to understand the evolution that exists between data, information and knowledge, for the generation of tangible value through the measurement of Intellectual Capital.

The acquired data must be classified and stored, which is made possible with information and communication technology (ICT) tools, converting it into information, which can be analyzed and used by people to build useful knowledge to generate value. Once they are put into practice, they can be measured, thus constituting the Intellectual Capital, which is ultimately the main source of wealth for organizations in the current economy.
