This article is a brief explanation of what Marketing is…

MARKETING OR MARKETING

Marketing can be defined as the set of procedures used for the marketing and distribution of various products among different consumers, with the aim of increasing sales and improving profits. Goods that are pleasing in price, quality or brand to the consumer should always be produced.

Marketing today encompasses the entire process of production, marketing and distribution of goods, from market research to distribution studies and sales budgets. With increasing competition, marketing strategies play an increasingly important role in economic development every day, and a good market study or a good business plan can make the difference between the success or failure of companies.

Marketing or marketing focuses mainly on analyzing the tastes of consumers, aims to establish their needs and desires and influence their behavior so that they want to acquire existing goods, so that different techniques are developed to persuade consumers to that they acquire a certain product. Marketing activity includes planning, organizing, directing, and controlling decision-making about product lines, pricing, promotion, and after-sales services. Marketing is essential in these areas; in others, such as in the development of new product lines, it plays an advisory role. In addition, she is responsible for the physical distribution of the products,.establishes the distribution channels to be used and supervises the transport of goods from the factory to the warehouse, and from there, to the final point of sale.

There are three fundamental factors in the development of Marketing: The Product, the Price and the Promotion.

PRODUCT:

The product is the good or service to offer, arises from the use of raw materials (materials or intellectuals) to form a tool, which can generate consumption that can be bought or has value for those who enjoy it

PRICE:

It is the value that is assigned to the good that is consumed, as it is known that there are consumer goods, luxury goods, rare or rare goods, etc., where price can play a fundamental role in the consumer's purchase decision, since be it for its economy or for the class and the value that the client gives to the goods.

PROMOTION:

It is the dissemination that is done to the good or service, to attract customer attention, generate brand awareness, recognition and, of course, to make the product offered known.

Marketing. Marketing can be defined as the set of procedures used for the marketing and distribution of various products among different consumers, with the aim of increasing sales and improving profits. Goods that are pleasing for price, quality or brand to the consumer should always be produced.

Although the above elements seem very obvious and elementary, it is with the play of these variables (and many more) that successful and winning sales strategies are developed.

Sometimes there are companies that develop low-quality products at a very low price, others will prefer to improve their quality with less accessible prices. There will be companies that develop advertising one by one, others will make their promotion or publicity through media such as radio, the press or television. Others will not spend on advertising and will focus on product development etc.

In general, marketing changes according to trends, today for example franchises have become very fashionable, tomorrow sales one by one, it is likely that one of the most determining factors of the success that a company may have is the image it gives from itself to the public. In this sense, since marketing activities, being directed at the consumer, must preserve and promote the good image of the company and its advertising brand. Marketing thus becomes the number one instrument to meet the sales goals of companies and a fundamental weapon towards the development of business competitiveness.
