How to take action towards sales success

Anonim

During our life we are acquiring successive wishes, of different types and importance.

Some are essential to our life and others, on the other hand, we incorporate them by informing ourselves that we can achieve other goals if we follow certain steps that lead us to materialize it.

In this way we will agree by accepting that desire represents the essential engine that will motivate us to take the action that leads us to achieve what we want.

Likewise, we must accept that the wishes are not fulfilled by themselves, and we can only make them come true if there is an action on our part that leads us rightly to achieve it.

However, we permanently assign priorities to our wishes according to our reflections…

The priorities

Our constant reflection on our desires makes us order them according to their importance, possibility, availability and fundamentally the determination to take action.

In this way, many wishes will begin to be attended to shortly, while others will remain in our “pending file” waiting for the most favorable moment to take the corresponding action. Others, on the other hand, will remain in the “archive of maybe someday…”

The barriers that hinder us

Accepting that we have decided to initiate action to achieve a desire, we will encounter several obstacles that prevent us from achieving what we desire most, so it is convenient to keep in mind what are the main obstacles that we all have to free ourselves and continue moving towards our most desired destination.

• Lack of knowledge. Many desires are postponed and even permanently rejected due to not knowing the essential, that is, by not taking the necessary action to clarify "what it is" and "how to do it".

• Lack of humility. This erroneous attitude is the one that blocks any possible improvement preventing the taking of any action and consists in believing that things have always been done well when in reality we should accept that we are perfectible beings and become permeable to accept and understand other better options available that would significantly change our lives..

• The fear. Various fears present in us will prevent us from moving forward, such as the fear of the unknown, of the new, of making mistakes, of having to start again, of ridicule, etc. This topic is too deep to deal with in a few lines, but if we accept that fear paralyzes us and prevents us from moving forward, we must face our fears until we clear our way towards what we most desire.

• What they will say. This highly expanded and socially incorporated aspect of our cultural evolution interrupts any process of improvement in our lives. The successful entrepreneur is the best example of having taken the action that his heart told him and that he believed without listening to contrary messages such as, "don't get into it", "I don't think it will work", etc.

• The comfort plateau. At some stage of our lives we reach a certain level of routines that places us on what I call "the comfort plateau." It is about being satisfied with what we have achieved so far. Upon reaching this level, all the good things that we can wish for but that deviate us from what we usually do easily, we pass to the "archive of maybe later…" simply because it represents being an enemy of the current controlled state of affairs.

If we are satisfied with the results that we obtain because the most ambitious goals are being surpassed month by month, my most sincere congratulations go to them.

But in the case of not being so, logic indicates that we must objectively analyze the causes that produce it and establish the best way to solve and perfect them to reverse the consequence, because otherwise it should not be erroneously expected to be resolved by itself. same.

After acknowledging in the analysis of our situation the presence of some of the barriers described above and choosing not to do anything about it, we know what will happen inexorably until they have been resolved.

Two clearly noticeable profiles towards action

In relation to the determination to take action, there are two clearly observable profiles in all people.

• The maker. He is the one who is most conditioned to take action, after clearly establishing what to do. The entrepreneur is the most representative figure in this profile who, despite "not knowing how", has mobilized to clear all doubts and move towards a desired goal.

This profile is neither reckless ("Inconsiderate, reckless, and exposing himself and throwing himself into danger without thoughtful examination of them") or fearful. This is because he uses his intelligence adequately to move forward despite his ignorance after overcoming his barriers, getting informed and establishing his best path.

As will be understood, this is the least numerous profile in our society, and if the trajectory of some renowned maker is analyzed, a path can be discovered where the successes achieved far outweigh their mistakes or mistakes.

• The observer. It is the one that deepens everything, little or nothing and stands out mainly for being on the opposite side of the maker, but characterized by little or total lack of action.

He justifies his inaction by only making comments and commenting on what they do, with or without success.

They are the ones who have a rather bulky “pending file”, without prioritizing to attend to them and to be able to advance towards the destination they deserve and that will not happen unless they begin the path of action towards improvement in this field.

Conclusions

Selling is a service that is appreciated through successful and efficient actions that allow its recipients to always make their best purchasing decisions.

If individually we want to sell more as well as make each member of our team efficiently carry out the actions that produce quality results and generate high productive results continuously, we must do something about it.

This will simply represent undertaking the right action or actions that will lead us to it according to each situation.

In case of ignorance, we must inform ourselves and learn from good sources; in case of improvement: correct and refine them; in the face of a lack of abilities or skills: training ourselves with the most expert.

From an early age, I understood that the important things in life are not free nor will they be provided on a silver platter.

Everything good and valuable that we want to obtain in life has a price that must be paid in time of dedication, or in learning, or in experiences and / or in money or in the sum of all of them.

The issue now involves knowing what we want to achieve in our lives and in our activity.

It all depends on the individual desire and its intensity that assigns the necessary priority to place it in the first starting position.

When in your particular case the sale assumes this importance but you do not take any action on it and even knowing that survival and growth depend on it until reaching the desired goal for your business or activity, simply remember this old Chinese proverb that says: " If you don't change course, you will end up in the exact place where you are going. ”

And when you decide to change, keep in mind what Almafuerte wrote: «Fill yourself with ambition, be determined, have the craziest, the highest sights. Do not be afraid to be a spirit, to be a dream, to be an illusion, to be an angel, to be a lie… the truth is a mold, it is a design that fills those who are most delirious with improvement ».
