How never stop learning leads to total success

When someone prepares to attend a test of any kind, they must be at 100% of their abilities; This can only be achieved if you have trained enough to be the best and win. Within the field of human resources there is a topic of great importance called: training and development of personnel. Next, we will present a brief description and analysis of this subject in question.

What is it?

We are going to define training as a short-term educational process through which people learn knowledge, aptitudes and abilities based on defined objectives. The term "educational" is involved since throughout our lives, we have been in continuous learning derived from influences that we receive from the social environment, to adapt to current and accepted social norms and values.

It is for this reason that we all go through a kindergarten to start living with other people and learn the most basic notions of life that just opened up before our eyes. Back in school, we learned that life is not so easy and that you must fight to achieve proposed goals; and the final link is professional education, where we have already refined our interests through a career and prepare to exercise it in the best way.

We can say, then, that training is professional education that adapts men to a position or function within an organization, and involves the transmission of knowledge, whether it is information about the company, its products, services, its organization, its policy., etc. Secondly, it implies a development of skills, understood as a training oriented to the tasks and operations that are going to be carried out.

Then there is a development of attitudes, understood as the change of negative attitudes for more favorable ones, an increase in motivation or a kinder attitude on the part of the bosses or superiors; Finally, there is a development of concepts where training raises the level of conceptualization of ideas and philosophies through training to members, who require it, in an organization.

But… what is all this for? The main objectives of a training system are to prepare personnel for the immediate execution of various tasks in the organization, provide opportunities for continuous personal development and change the attitude of people to create a more satisfactory work environment among employees., to increase their motivation and make them more receptive to supervision and management techniques.

Succeed and be the best: continuous and endless learning process

It should not be forgotten therefore that the training process is the responsibility of each supervisor or area manager where it will take place. It must be explained, taught, accompanied and communicated, for its correct functioning.

The training cycle has 4 phases that are the input, where the training begins as such of the individuals, the processing where the learning is involved, the output where the individual is already enabled to perform a certain task, and the feedback process, where the results of the process are collected and possible failures are evaluated as well as their solutions.

Phases of training

There is the diagnostic one where it is studied if the objectives of the company were fully fulfilled or not, and if it is possible or necessary to implement a training system. Later there is the programming stage, where it is established what, who, when, where and how everything pertinent to satisfy the perceived needs within the diagnosis will be taught.

As a third step is the execution as such of the training where the instructor will transmit his knowledge in an organized way to the apprentices. Finally there is the evaluation of results, where the efficiency of the training will be determined, based on studying whether it produced the desired changes in the behavior of the employees and on demonstrating whether the results are related to the achievement of the company's goals.

It is therefore very important to conclude how much the training served in the company, in the workers and in the tasks or operations, to define the direction in which the organization should strive to go.
