At present and with the scientific-technical development achieved in our days, the study of History has varied extraordinarily, it is no longer that science in charge of the study of the evolution of society, of the social organization of the primitive community, the science that is responsible for revealing the conditions of the collapse of the slave system, and the conditions of emergence and the features and characteristics of the feudal system, also showing the outlet of all evolution in the formation of bourgeois society. But the science that includes a complex system of knowledge, related to both nature and society.
Law is a dynamic science that has its object of study: it is about the regulation of social relations, each branch that integrates it, has from its various forms and nuances the same purpose, the same object of study that is the regulation of Social relations.
The Law Allows man to explain the origin of political societies, their evolution, establish regularities. For the accomplishment of the previous missions, the Law is based on a set of Methods and tasks that man, depending on the level of development reached, must undertake.
In the teaching-educational process, Law plays an important role in the formation of the student's integral personality, since it helps to understand the scientific conception of the world, by integrating political and socio-economic knowledge, it defines Marxist-Leninist positions when knowing the origin, development and evolution of Law, and develops skills such as: Observe, describe, characterize, explain, argue, compare, value, among others.
The teaching of the General History of the State and Law, is an important source for the formation of feelings, values and attitudes in the student, for example, develops feelings of love for the country, fosters values such as responsibility, diligence, honesty, solidarity, patriotism, among others; brings the student closer to the most modern technological means such as computers, video, and television, since in the teaching-learning process the student will look for computerized information, apply knowledge acquired through television or deepen it through content materials on video.
Marti's work can also be integrated into the teaching of the General History of the State and Law; the use by the master of Marti's thought to illustrate his narrative, chronicles, articles, and letters. The whole of Marti's work contains an immense cognitive contribution, develops skills and encourages the formation of knowledge, values and attitudes, which are related to the aspirations of the Cuban university today.
