Encourage them to talk about their families, what they like, their hobbies or sports. Remind them that their lives are also important to you. They are not just a number within the team, they are people who have a life and dreams.
When proper team building is done, very nice things can happen. Not only that the company or business works better, but that people see what their qualities are and want to share them with others. They spend too many hours together not knowing each other as people who have permanent emotions, need to feel that the person sitting next to them respects their tastes or shares their interests in job growth.
