Worldview and cultural identity in Peru

Anonim

The way of seeing the world is conditioned by the way in which our culture and interculturality has been influenced in the habitat in which we develop.

From our conception, we acquire concepts that, at some point in our lives, are going to condition our way of acting, thinking and socializing; therefore much of this is acquired, being necessary to have a better idea of what we “acquired” to analyze the source of this knowledge.

People's cultural identity has a lot to do with what we call a worldview, but it is not the same, since the towns form a whole conglomerate of stories, legends and myths, which form and identify us from the rest of a large population sample. multi ethnic.

But how to define the worldview, without trying to explain the factors that make it up and differentiate it from the taking of an ethnic, nationalistic, religious, alienated and very socially interactive Identity, from my point of view it cannot, since not even being genetically manipulated, we would no longer have an explainable and diffuse nature that allows us to understand why we are here?

Perhaps this is the most plausible and difficult reason to develop and explain, Why are we here? What is our goal? What is our projection?… the worldview tries to explain this problem, analyzing our antecedents of life (regression), our family, our locality, our nation, our religion, and thus try to demonstrate our existence and the end that we follow, achievable or not, and thus determines the way we have to face our existence and the place we occupy or project to get to occupy in the world.

In this globalized world, there are many trends that have distorted the worldview, from the nationalist point of view and the point of view without borders, religion is a great distorter of the worldview, since it has long structured the thinking of people and their actions in society, now who does this are the political tendencies, currently neo liberalism, which assuming "democracy" as a starting point, tries to break with all structured conceptions to make way for unstructured positivism where "reason" and science, try to make peace by explaining under identical premises the theories that explain the worldview of man from its beginning, trying to find the scientific and logical reasons why man is a spiritually and materially fractional being if we refer to his intelligence to do things.

The way in which man has transcended, the way in which he has developed a worldview hidden from analysis and that cannot yet be deciphered, because it is his own nature to create science, to refuse and recreate himself, his self-destructive worldview of doing things.

Here is a topic, which has not been addressed, which is that of anthropological typologies that try to segment people by certain group characteristics, what we commonly know as “profile”.

When you studied the history of Peru, you have heard of Pre Incan cultures and Inca culture and that each of them even has its own ethnographic peculiarities; Based on the previous premise, what is the concept of culture that you would use to define them?

These ethnic components that are linked to the identity of this people, in a facet that is part of our historical learning.

Although it is true that they contain different particularities, of a religious, cultural and social organization type, their worldview is the same, overlapping one over the other, in this case the Inca over the Pre Inca, and this does not mean that one cancels the another, but interpolate and coexist feeding each other… it is true that there are some traits that are lost, such as language and some religious habits, but in particular the ethnic or anthropological traits are those that are transmitted from generation to generation.

In this case my concept of culture is nothing other than the conjunction of ethnic features that make up much of an identity or nationalism, this given by anthropological antecedents transmitted from generation to generation.

What are the foundations and the worldview that the Lambayecan man has, regarding life and work?

All worldview has historical and spiritual foundations, in this case the Lambayecano man's worldview regarding work is that of the typical provincial "profile", little stressed, conformist and of low knowledge regarding the work he performs.

With regard to life, it is fashionable to live fast and think later, the way of life is in accordance with current thinking especially in youth, which due to lack of values in their development and in the face of a very deep loss of traits main national identity, is allowing people's thinking and worldview about their position in the world and especially in this part, we are subject to compulsive consumerism and alienation promoted by marketing icons.
