Introduction

The New Labor Culture is oriented towards the generation of work habits, productive practices and values in the labor world, so that everyone is aware of their rights, but also of their duties, to achieve, together, a harmonious collaboration that achieves higher levels in the skills of all, which, in turn, allow an increase in productivity and competitiveness in companies, thus allowing raising the living standards of workers and their families, promoting their integral development.

The foundation that determines the value of work is, first of all, the dignity of the person. Human work has an ethical and transcendent value, as well as economic. Work, which is the means par excellence for self-support and that of the family, must also be a means for the integral development of the person.

Work is a source of rights and obligations, the place where work is carried out mainly and preferably, at present, is the company, a community where workers, managers and investors come together, in order to raise the standard of living of society, the productivity, competitiveness and economic development, which must also allow for better remuneration for work.

Efforts to ensure greater benefits to workers must always be in accordance with the economic situation of the country and of the companies; hence the importance of proposing improvement. We live in a globalized economic world. This reality should boost competitiveness at the international level, and the creativity, inventiveness and imagination of all Mexicans; as well as social responsibility and solidarity.

The New Mexican Labor Culture must have as its fundamental support the dialogue of the productive sectors, that is, the concertation and the union of efforts between the union and business organizations; the academy, and organized society.

The New Labor Culture is an accumulation of values, principles and postulates aimed at building a new paradigm regarding the historical vision of work. The central element of the NCL is the dignity of the person. Permanent dialogue is sought between the productive sectors, the search for consensus, gradual changes, the inclusion of the labor sector - organized in the unions - and business associations, with strict respect for legality, equity and justice.

Work culture

It is the set of knowledge and tricks that allow you to achieve your job goals, that is, to get a job, stay in it and improve your job position.

The work culture will allow us to reinforce and generate new values and behaviors that will help us to be more productive and competitive, thus ensuring that everything that is manufactured in Mexico is competitive and thus they prefer them over products from other countries.

Undoubtedly, if there is a greater work culture in small and medium-sized companies, they would be more productive and their impact on the national economy would exceed conservative expectations.

Eva Kras says that interpersonal relationships are so important in Mexican culture that it is necessary to analyze them taking into account four things:

  1. The person vs. Homework; Emotional sensitivity; Label; Work environment.

From this perspective, the definition and epistemological process that gives rise to culture are briefly analyzed, to finally determine the type of relationship that exists between culture and work. Now, the interesting thing about this process is to identify the work attitudes that are part of what we would call the "old", but at the same time, modern work culture and, as an alternative, the approach of four basic criteria that modify the conception of work and support the new work culture:

  1. The recognition that the worker is more than a resource, a person, a human being. Work more than a commodity is the means to transform reality. Organizations more than battlegrounds are communities of shared and participatory development. Productivity more than a form of exploitation, is a result that arises from the enrichment of the worker's capabilities.

Previously, the work culture of the worker was considered to be a resource that serves almost anything; reduce work to a simple commodity; It turns organizations into battlegrounds and makes productivity a form of exploitation. This vision reproduces schemes of authoritarianism, veiled exploitation, unfair competition, lack of productivity and loss of competitiveness, making our production plant vulnerable. and leads us to consider an aspect of cultural reality that has not only characterized our country, but the vast majority of countries in the world. The person is a resource. It is common, both in Mexico and in other countries, that the human being is seen as a resource, as one more piece of the productive gear. But not only that, the most serious problem is that he sees himself as a resource and therefore sells himself as such. It is perhaps the best of resources because it is ductile, malleable, manipulable, that is, it can be "used" for almost anything. It is very common to listen when someone applies for a job and they are asked what do you know how to do? Answer "whatever".

Today, culture represents a positive change of mentality and attitude in the way of seeing and doing work. It seeks to eradicate some vices that still exist in the world of work and reinforce the qualities, trying to build a new relationship between workers, employers and the government to promote the development of Mexico.

It is a continuous process of harmonization of labor relations to ensure the permanence and development of sources of employment.

Organizational culture, institutional culture, administrative culture, corporate culture, business culture, or business culture, are expressions used to designate a certain concept of culture (the one that understands it as the set of experiences, habits, customs, beliefs, and values, which characterizes a human group) applied to the restricted scope of an organization, institution, administration, corporation, company or business (when usually the concept "culture" is applied to the wide scope of a society or civilization).

In conclusion, when we talk about work culture we are saying that they are rights and obligations that we have as workers to be able to raise the quality of society's standard of living and thus have better productivity, competitiveness and economic development to obtain better personal economic remuneration. So I also consider that the New Work Culture is a cluster of values, principles and postulates aimed at building a new paradigm regarding the historical vision of work, because the work culture has gone through many procedures that have been based on the ideas that unions have to defend their workers. That is why in these last days culture represents a positive change of mentality and attitude in the way of seeing and doing the work of all people.
