This proposal tends towards social integration oriented more than freedom, equality.
What it is about is that we give life, application to that constitutional principle enshrined in the Political Charter of Colombians, to really be a Solidarity State, which translates into that human condition of having the capacity to recognize in the other my equal, understand it and understand it by being able to be reciprocal in the search for the collective good, invoking the development of Civil Society as an instrument for the strengthening of democracy, the feeling for national unity, this is the appropriate formula to re-found the State, not the other.
The strengthening of democracy seems to be related, then, to the ability of the political regime to achieve pacts, agreements, coalitions with different political parties, interest groups and thus direct economic and social decisions that shorten the differences between rich and poor.
The interaction between the different actors in political, social and economic life must lead to the construction of a State in which its institutionalization is the result of citizen opinion with sufficient political influence to influence decision-making by the State government., respecting the limits between public and private interests.
Those of us who have been promoting the Social Responsibility of the State in the administration of the public cannot fail to insist on the need to emphasize the protection of political rights such as freedom of the press, of association, in the promotion of pluralism and of the active participation of all sectors of society; in the consolidation of an independent judicial apparatus, among other important values for the proper functioning of a regime that seeks to call itself democratic.
However, more than a legal framework that develops the statement, a political culture that truly executes them is needed to achieve an equitable and modern society, in which political parties must contribute, for which they must be strengthened with the incorporation of members. that they represent the new generations and different sectors of Colombian society, to air them with ideological proposals, so that other faces are those that represent the political collectives and thus, encourage the Colombian population to participate in the public through the political parties where those opposed to the government can exercise political control avoiding the abuse of power that leads to arbitrariness.
