The Executive Teams have taken stock of the year that ended and have visualized their future. Between the reforms, the economic forecasts, the exercise of visualization and forecasting of the behavior of the market and the clients, each Committee has decided to launch into the challenge of facing what comes. Those who finished below their plans start thinking that the coming year will be difficult, those who exceeded their expectations, see it as a new challenge.

But the year will not be different from many others. The obligation of the leaders of each company is to generate broad results in relation to the Business Plan that has been foreseen, even when there are difficulties, challenges or opportunities in the environment.

For him it is important to ask ourselves the following: Do you bet an improvement on the country's economy and its market or do you bet on an improvement in the talent of its people?

The answer to this question may be the difference between winning and / or losing the market, winning and / or losing your sales volume and whether or not to achieve the expected return for shareholders in the coming year.

Things will not improve for your company due to external behavior and you must understand it this way, your results depend entirely on what you as a leader and your people do or stop doing inside your business. It's that hard! But totally true. If you do not have your collaborators on your side, prepare as soon as possible as a leader together with them so that they can run at the same pace and achieve success. I have said many times what leadership means to me: Having a high level of influence from doing the right thing ”: Always! So there are no excuses, the results of your organization will always fall on your shoulders. There is no reason to blame your Directors or Area Managers, nor their supervisors… if they do not act well, it is because you do not do it either. It is a matter of Congruence.

Do you have in mind how much you will invest in the market for the coming years? Do you have within your objectives what you will put into play to expand your market coverage? I believe it !, one prepares with that information long in advance. What you may not be taking into account is the People! Factor. You depend on the leadership that the Company has, whether you like it or not.

You have invested in Processes, you have also invested in Technology, you have even adhered to the letter of the Master Plan for Technical Training that the entire Organization requires, but do you have people on your side? Do your Middle Managers perform the Leadership function that you desire? I keep saying it around the world and in all the places where I appear to give my conferences and seminars before Men and Women of Business. Leadership is everything! Examples of companies to which I have the honor to give consultancy I have full hands. When a global investment is made from the top for leadership training, the results are extraordinary.

I also learned that differentiation is not made by the top management, but rather our effectiveness as leaders, because at the end of the day it will be our people who will make the difference or not, depending on our level of influence in them. We have to focus on it. In being better leaders and multiplying our leadership. Because it will be through all the leaders we have within our reach that we have the possibility of exceeding expectations for our clients and shareholders. Organizations change when people change, but for that to happen, the Leader needs to change too…

This is how progress is made and this is how unimaginable results are achieved. The possibility of winning is not merely in the change in external conditions or in the improvement of government performance, but in the continuous improvement that is achieved within each organization. And this is only a product of the great results that people, together with their work teams, decide to do by providing everything in order to achieve the vision of the organization and make its vision a reality.

You must focus your effort on it, and you must surround yourself with people who practice the same philosophy every day they come to work. The historical moments that the country is experiencing are only a product of what is not within its reach to resolve, but it can help a great deal if it makes its employees better people, better parents, better leaders willing to provide the best service. with the gifts that have been given to them. This is your goal to achieve! Because doing this, you will surely not only have the best talents with you, but the best people and that is a big difference.

Do not pay more to have the best talent, this practice has been done for several years, but the day you focus on having better people, you will know that talent is already an added value that you have earned as a product of your proper leadership management.
