IV. General rules for education for basic education and productive technical education

1. Plans and projects

For public and private IE:

- The PEI, is a medium-term management instrument, must be conceived with a projection of five (05) years, this period of time will allow the achievement of learning according to the needs identified in the context of each IE.

- The PCI, will be prepared for a period of five (05) years, this instrument guides the pedagogical processes, therefore its evaluation and update will be annually based on the needs of IE students.

- The PAT is a short-term management instrument, must be prepared annually and is articulated to operationalize the PEI and the PCI, includes various cultural, artistic, sports and recreational programs and activities as complementary or applicative aspects to curricular activities and in-service training plan or plans for the institution's teaching and management staff.

- The Director of public and private EI is responsible for having approved before the beginning of the school year or promotional period, his Institutional Educational Project (PEI), Institutional Curriculum Project (PCI) and Annual Work Plan (PAT). The DRE, UGEL and / or Municipality must unexpectedly supervise the compliance with this provision by IE.

- In public EIs, the PEI is approved by the EI Directorate with the opinion of the Institutional Educational Council (CONEI).

- In private IE the approval will be made in accordance with its Internal Regulations.

- Each of these management documents must be reviewed, prepared and / or reformulated through a technical work team, who must ensure their consistency. They must be ready no later than February 2011.

- In Alternative Basic Education (EBA):

- The Director informs the Student Participation Council - COPAE of the characteristics of said instruments.

- They must be formulated before the promotional period.
