Introduction

Technological development has been appropriated in today's society: in the education that is being provided at all levels and professional fields of teaching and research, because society requires professionals of high academic and professional quality who can move agilely in a competitive and dynamic world in constant change.

Education highly reflects the change and place that has been taken in society and the technological changes and telecommunication research of information.

The work gives points of view and to start discussion of the issues of the current situation of library science in Mexico and how the training of researchers must be faced.

According to the author Lina Rivers, research in the field of library education began in Mexico long before the center itself was born as such, since the problems affecting library education had already been studied by the same professionals who graduated from specialized educational institutions. The creation of the CUIB gives formality and a methodological basis to the investigations carried out in the field and which ranged from the history of library education to the analysis of the quality of educational programs ”. Therefore Librarianship began with the problems that affected Mexico, the creation of the CIUB began research for the emergence of studies in library science and had to form educational programs.

“First, the development of the institutions that provide library science education is fundamental not only to know how these have evolved but also to be able to analyze the characters and projects that have been carried out within the schools. To know our history is to know ourselves. Regarding curricular analysis and updating, it is essential that curricula respond to the current demands of society, taking into account their social, scientific and technological development, and proposing the skills and competences appropriate to the new context. Within the function of the librarian as promoter of information, another problem that has been little studied by researchers and that has impacted the profession and the discipline is looming: technology."Which is why institutions have evolved to have more competencies and skills than information managers and gives new views of library science

“The country and society in general require well-prepared professionals, trained to manage in a globalized environment and in a competitive market characterized by employing only the best in an environment that constantly demands greater skills and knowledge. Obviously, those who can contribute knowledge to raise the quality of education are researchers in the area. Thus, the first challenge facing research is the training of researchers “due to the need for research, they require competence and knowledge, in order to have competence at work and to be more effective with information and better use of information, a librarian seeking to investigate topics educational must have sufficient knowledge on how to study the educational aspect of their interest,as well as the basic knowledge of this aspect. This characteristic is fundamental, even in the work that involves professionals of pedagogy, since in order to understand and discuss the different sides of a problem of library education, the same "language" must be used. librarians have the same interests and knowledge to involve professional work

“The interdisciplinary one not only plays a fundamental role between these two specialties. Depending on the type of study, history and its methods, economics, psychology, sociology, law, etc. will be required.

“Research in library science education, mentioning that it is decisive because, in addition to providing sustained solutions to the problems that arise in educational institutions, it enables the formation of a theoretical body of disciplinary knowledge that allows the development of library science itself. However, it is necessary, first, to determine what has been done in the field and what remains to be done, as well as to establish priorities, since it is necessary to rank the problems according to their level or perspective to achieve adequate research and an impact on the society and discipline, for which it is necessary to distinguish the two areas of research; the theoretical and the applied. ”

The importance of research in library science education was analyzed, mentioning that it is decisive because in addition to providing sustained solutions to the problems that arise in educational institutions, it allows for the formation of a theoretical body of disciplinary knowledge that allows the development of library science itself. The lack of training of human resources to research the educational area is reflected in the lack of human resources for research, but also in the real absence of a program of training of resources for this activity, since there are no places for assistant of researcher and the transition from academic technicians to research is being questioned. On the other hand, the requirements to obtain scholarships and the low salaries limit the participation of a large number of students, therefore the need for resources in the educational area gives a scarcity of research resources and scarce resources for the researcher and not helping. nor to obtain the research grant.

It is necessary for the student to have a solid conceptual base that must be reflected in the educational model, an imminent task for educational institutions, since currently the educational model of our institutions lacks a solid conceptual and theoretical base.

The educational model must combine teaching and research.

It is essential to link teaching with research, a pattern that has been proposed by ANUIES and that is increasingly being followed in more higher-level educational institutions. In principle, this would seem to be the right decision, but we will have to carry out evaluative studies to find out the proper course of this combination, since both theorists and the students who have been immersed in processes of this nature have stated that the good researcher is not always a good teacher and vice versa.

For the librarian, it is necessary to know how to research and how to use research methods, the scarce need of librarians and also the scarce way to use research tools.

conclusion

That the change in tools and the way of research that a librarian has and having technological tools makes a very big change in education in Mexico. Thanks to the creation of CUIB, I cover all educational programs and the advantages obtained, being skillful and having the appropriate skills to take it to the workplace.
