Introduction

In this essay I will speak explicitly and at the same time concisely, about a literary analysis and comparison, starting from two works that have transcended over the years for their great literary content. The first work that I am going to refer to in this essay is "The Stranger" by the author Albert Camus and the work called "The Metamorphosis of Franz Kafka. I will focus on what in my opinion is the most relevant and outstanding message and teaching that these two works share, starting from a development focused on the human condition, the values of the human, the unshakable and different ideals of some thinkers, opposed to what society recognizes as "normal", and I will talk about the tolerance that the human being has for himself.

Development

Currently, and in the contemporary era, the human being has been going through different stages of personal development, as well as developing tact and sensitivity that totally and carefully influence coexistence and integration in society.

What makes us seem that human life can be interpreted as simple, that life is a gift that the human being adopts, cares for and enjoys in its maximum splendor.

However, nothing is what it seems, being the dominant living being on earth, we are in many aspects of our lives unhappy, uneasy, detestable and intolerant, that is why I decided to focus my essay and criticize this issue in particles, starting from my hypothesis previously made and interpreted: "Man is a servant, when he does not serve, he does not serve." Which has made me recognize the importance that human and interpersonal relationships can have in order to coexist and adapt in society.

First I want to refer to the work "The Stranger" by Albert Camus; In my opinion and it seems to be a work without equal, the start of the work caught my attention, without knowing anything about the story after it was raised, the author managed to give it a coherent and orderly structure, the beginning of the work is confusing at the beginning, but it has a pretty good support in terms of the initial development of the work, in the story the main theme that I recognized was the fact of being a hero, of being a person with a very different character and personality and strange to the bulk of the population, it is a human condition that has been relevant and criticized for several years.

The main character in the story is a man named Meursault, a hard-working man, with unusual ideals, and who, for many different opinions, would find his way of being, thinking and acting crude.

Meursault was the most expressionless and mediocre character I have ever seen, however that is under my appreciation, or rather under the appreciation of anyone who is foreign or unknown to Meursault's way of being, but he was always clear that his decisions they took him to where he was, that the fact of not corresponding to such obvious things for people, made him a criminal, a tyrant, an infidel, an undesirable, someone without scruples, without feelings, but Meursault did what almost no person He has done, knowing the consequences that this merits, defended his ideals and thoughts until the last moment of his existence, determined to stop having a totally empty and purposeless life.

In a world where the strange and unknown is considered evil, there is no human or supernatural power that can rescue such content, and it is precisely in this aspect when I speak of my hypothesis, Meursault was a man of service; to his employer, to society, but at the moment that Mr. Meursault broke the routine with an act of a criminal nature, his life took a completely different turn, he stopped serving, and with it he carried a series of atrocious charges, for the simple fact of not being a useful member of society, he was completely the opposite of a person with a desirable profile, he was a servant, who had his own thoughts, without social or cultural influences, and who defended to his final destination highlighting his position said; " So that everything is consummated, so that I feel less alone,I have nothing left but to wish on the day of my execution the presence of many spectators who welcome me with cries of hatred ”(page 122) El Extranjero. And with which I base myself on one more reference that gives force to my hypothesis; “Sometimes it was necessary to make hasty decisions that, however, could mean life or death. The prisoner would have preferred to let fate choose for him ”(Second Phase) The man in search of meaning- Viktor Frankl-1946.The prisoner would have preferred to let fate choose for him ”(Second Phase) The man in search of meaning- Viktor Frankl-1946.The prisoner would have preferred to let fate choose for him ”(Second Phase) The man in search of meaning- Viktor Frankl-1946.

On the other hand, in the second work called Metamorphosis, written by Franz Kafka. It is a very interesting and quite credible story, speaking of the human condition, the story that Gregorio Samsa becomes an insect overnight could be interpreted as an incredible and fantasy novel, however the subject of greatest impact and enrichment in the novel, is nothing more and nothing less than, the treatment that Gregorio Samsa received after becoming that amorphous insect, the human condition and society tend to be very cruel before sudden and unexpected changes, taking a deplorable attitude and intolerant.

As happened to Gregorio, a hardworking Man, provider of monetary benefits to his family, a fairly strong and resistant step in the economy and integrity of the Samsa family, but suddenly on any given day, the point at which Gregorio would leave from being a servant to his house, it was the day that he really became the horrible insect, for not being someone useful, for becoming an extra burden on the family, for failing to produce as much or as little as the family was used to to pay month after month, Gregorio Samsa was brave and calm at the same time, considering the situation of trial in which he found himself, set by his family.

Gregorio had an impulse and a desire to let himself decay and die slowly, for being useless to his own, as Nico Montero mentions in his song "I am looking for something else that transforms my egoism and reveals myself to others as parts of myself, I am seeking to be salt and be the light that illuminates the abysses ”(I am looking for something more) Nico Montero. Gregorio's wishes were simple, to be taken into account by his family as one more member of her, not as its main provider.

The best phrase I found to represent Gregory's state is; "Disgust, pity and honor were my emotions that our viewer could no longer feel" (Second phase) The man in search of meaning-Viktor Frankl.

conclusion

Concisely and explicitly: The human being is a supreme and incomparable being, but today and in a contemporary era, he is only a small piece, manageable and controllable, determined to fulfill the mandates and obligations of a society that is scarce. ideals and own impulses, the human is a tool for society, and is used by it, as soon as it stops working, someone else will be used, repeating history for the rest of humanity.
