The power of thought, and language, affirmative in our lives

Anonim

We are what we think. All that we are arises from our thoughts. With our thoughts we create the world. Buddha

The most seductive of all the communication tools available to human beings is, without a doubt, the word. The quintessential manifestation of the human animal on the planet, the word is powerful, for better and for worse. It is the weapon of cunning and also the vehicle of poetry and song. It can comfort and offend. Both arouses hatred and love and all this depends only on the skill with which we manage to put together the puzzle of the internal discourse, which is nothing more than the verbalized expression of our conscious activity, finally reflected in our actions.

The irreducible unity of being is projected in the very personal structure of language, the superior instrument of rational thought. Perhaps no one has expressed it more clearly than Buddha: “ We are what we think. All that we are arises from our thoughts. With our thoughts we create the world. ”

Do we remember someone who is distinguished by their negativity? What type of language do you use?

And someone positive? What are your favorite words?

We can verify these facts wherever we are, because they are part of human nature and permeate all behavior. Those verbal expressions end up settling on the face; etch grooves in the skin; they draw smiles or grimaces of anguish to show the type of person that lives behind the mask. They choose the colors of our clothes and they decide our hobbies. They attract our partners, friends, enemies, and get us occupations according to our mental condition.

It all starts in language. Every thing that we "say" to ourselves, as it repeats, leaves a real physical imprint on the brain, called the neural groove. People who think they are idiots and reiterate it whenever they have an opportunity, end up behaving like idiots and really becoming more and more idiots. If this is so, as the available evidence seems to show, we have a great job ahead of us.

We can start by replacing the negative expressions that are usually part of everyday language with positive ones, because our unconscious:

  • it ignores what "no" means and, consequently, it inverts the meaning of the messages that contain it, it has a very simple processing system: the more precise, clear and concrete the verbal expression of our thinking is, the more it will be understandable and operational, build our mental models with the material delivered to you: you can create luminous worlds with infinite possibilities or dark, rancid and petty burrows, you are an obedient slave and execute orders as you receive them; does not question or verify them.

The affirmative language, but language is a vital attitude. It is very difficult to express in the affirmative if the reasoning runs in the opposite direction, because language and conscious thought merge in practice. If it is positive, its expression will naturally be of the same sign, but the inverse is equally valid.

The affirmative thoughtIt is built step by step from our conscious being, who-in the style of a patient sculptor-carves the neural grooves according to the plan that has previously been drawn, until he manages to compose a satisfactory mental model. His chisel are the words we have left after removing from our speech all those that somehow deny, doubt, obscure or destroy, because they only see the negative part of the matter, which is not the issue. The imprecise, generalizing or confusing, because the enormous pieces of material that they give off usually distort the work completely and make it useless. The thoughtless, insensitive, inconsiderate and also the arrogant, because they speak from the rational and, therefore, from their pathetic limitation, which is equal to ignorance. And all those that lead nowhere, those that go around in circles and those that hardly serve to fill the silence, because they waste the most expensive resource of all, the one for whose enjoyment we pay our life: time.

Affirmative thinking is not content with solving difficulties, but while doing so, develops plans so that they do not happen again. Therefore, their language is proaction, much more than action.

When you think affirmatively, you are always part of the solution and never part of the problem, because the nature of that thought predisposes its owner to take several steps ahead of the obstacles.

Whoever uses the word in this way has achieved mastery in self-construction and is prepared to lead others effectively. For this reason, Bioliderazgo is a path and, necessarily, also a goal that is continually renewed, step by step, as our capacity expands. The affirmative thinker is, without a doubt, a Biolider.
