Business dynamics is always in constant movement, without a doubt, so management must adapt and evolve to be present, providing companies with better ways of acting and living harmoniously in their environment, as well as contributing to the society where they are immersed, to As society, markets and other aspects change, managers must also get how to learn and adapt to that reality and get the most out of it, for this, having elastic management is a great help in addition to adding to the effective adaptation of the organization to current employment and business dynamics.

When I speak of elastic management I speak of a proposal for an organizational management style, to make organizations have that capacity to maintain, expand or retract their actions in order to adapt to the demands that may affect it.

This style of management seeks to maintain focus on the generation of economic gains, but also on the generation of well-being to human talent, who makes life in the organization in a balanced way, giving that strategic approach to human talent, based on conscious action. In this management style, five (5) principles are set forth, which, taking it into action, will have an adequate organizational climate that fosters productivity as well as a pleasant organization conducive to the prosperity of all.

The five principles for having elastic management are:

  1. Act Conscious: refers to each of the members of the organization knowing that their actions generate a consequence, when acting consciously, ethics and morals are taken into account in each action that is undertaken, as well as responsibility, since that without responsibility there is no consciousness. Everyone in the organization must understand the importance of acting with conscience, this will stimulate relationships and actions focused on achieving the stated objectives. Effective Teams:It is essential that the organization has teams that are effective in achieving the objectives, each member of the organization must add value from their responsibilities, without the formation of effective teams the objectives will not be achieved, instead, by having it, The organization will move to a more optimal level in its plans and operations. Productivity: this principle places the fact of guiding all planning, plans and actions to achieve the highest level of productivity in operations, we can always be better (continuous improvement), so each act we have must be oriented to the increase of the productivity in the organization, the economic profit of the organization and therefore that of everyone depends on it.Panoramic Look: This principle is based on the possibility of seeing beyond the obvious, focusing on attacking the causes and not the consequences of problems in learning from each situation, and in having a comprehensive and systemic thought that makes our actions add value. Responsible Freedom:It is about changing that culture, beliefs, values, with which organizations were managed in the past, I mean that so rigid and often prison form, which does not add anything good to the organizational climate, nowadays people highly value the to be able to count on freedom, that is to say we must open ourselves to a more flexible, collaborative and planned employment relationship where the most important aspect is based on management and evaluation by objectives, for example, where there is no problem if you need a few hours, a day or two a week to do personal activities, as long as you fulfill your obligations, and have a planning for those days, agreed between the entire work team, here collaboration and planning is essential and clear rules are vital in this case,The fact of having freedom will never exempt you from your responsibilities, in this matter collaborative management helps a lot, the current work dynamic requires organizations to be this way, in my opinion, in the future it will not be an option.

As managers, you should seek to be elastic enough in management to meet the needs of the company's shareholders, as well as the human talent of the company, this cannot be achieved if there is no conscious action.

The organizational climate is essential to have a successful management, which is why in my opinion this is an issue that is no longer optional, it is simply a duty to promote and maintain an adequate organizational climate, where this fact is part of the culture of the organization, thus promoting a pleasant environment for everyone, where as workers we are not burdened by going to our work since we know that in addition to working we are going to enjoy what we do, at least in most of the time.

This is a management style that is proposed to have greater effectiveness, productivity and pleasant and favorable workplaces for the evolution of all its members, of course, some training and maturity is required at all levels of the organization, but once implemented correctly there will be many benefits obtained.
