Oral communication from a congruent point of view

Why is it important that oral communication is congruent?

As we saw in the previous definitions, congruence is something logical, something real, something that makes sense. But to speak congruently it is important to be a congruent person, this implies a conscious state of mind, it implies being responsible, using logical reasoning and positive human values. What are the human values? They are all those acts that allow the free coexistence of human beings in the world, one of the characteristics is that they multiply when they are used, since they help to create a better society, although there are both positive and negative values, but there is that human values are those that human beings share without distinction of race or culture. Why use positive human values? Because to act and speak congruently you need honesty, sincerity and courage to support what is thought and said.

It is important that oral communication is congruent, since to speak you have to make sense, say, use, the appropriate expressions when speaking to be able to convey what you want them to understand since by not speaking congruently they may not understand you, they are wrong they interpret things or understand something that is not.

Now that we know why oral communication is important from a congruent point of view, now what is its importance to apply it to small businesses?

Its main characteristic of oral communication is that it makes it the most effective, simple and direct means of communication.

It is widely used in the workplace, as it is faster than written, allows immediate feedback and is accompanied by non-verbal communication, which reinforces the content of the message.

According to the Mexican secretary of economy, small companies have between 11 and 30 workers. This means that in a small company there are few workers, this causes more than one worker to carry out more than one activity, this may be because the owner does not have money to pay more workers and that makes the workers carry out activities of more than an area of the company.

Therefore, oral communication plays a very important role since, as we mentioned regularly, it occurs that workers perform more than one task in different areas of the company. The training can help the staff to prepare better and can be a solution for small companies. They do not have the money to hire more staff and can cover all areas of the company with qualified and efficient personnel.

As we mentioned, oral communication can be a very important factor in small companies through business activities in which there are many situations in which spoken language is used, such as the aforementioned training, job interviews, meetings, advertising, dialogues, discussions, debates, conferences, round tables, forums, etc.

conclusion

Oral communication is one of the fastest and most efficient means of communication, therefore it has to be congruent so that whoever is giving the message can convey what he wants. It is vitally important to apply it to small businesses because it is part of the daily activities of the company.
