Understanding our mind will lead us to many questions that we ask ourselves, and that have no answers, you get, such as, Why do we do some particular things? Or why do we avoid some situations or because we react in a certain way? Etc. The answers that we can find to these questions and some more, will allow us to modify our behavior to be better human beings.

We are permanently influenced by the outside, as well as by internal events. The internal events are the lived experience, and the external ones are those that are happening around us. But by analyzing and understanding the cause of these fears, we can gain greater control over ourselves.

In order to overcome this problem, we have to stir in the depths of our being, to know what is the cause and the effect it has on us. We can know this by concentrating within ourselves. Meditation is one of the techniques that can cooperate to achieve this goal. It helps to focus all our attention on a single goal or thought. Our past experience will shed much light on our emotional growth. Spending a little of our time every day, to think and examine our actions or reactions in the past, will help us achieve a greater emotional balance and tranquility.

We can decide which facts we take into account and which must be filtered. In this way we can close ourselves to all the negative forces that influence us in life.

This will stimulate our self-reliance and self-confidence.

Let's make a commitment to put aside certain negative forces that influence us all the time, such as violence, crime, abuse, racism, war, poverty, etc. When we are self-reliant and confident, we can motivate other people to join us in our thinking.
