Anonim

Organizations are an important element in society and that is that they are producers of goods and services, they create jobs and drive the economy, companies are based on ideals that are expressed through a culture, this culture is the basis of the daily life of collaborators, managers and executives, as each organization has its own culture and therefore its own profiles.

Organizational culture is that set of beliefs, habits, values, attitudes, norms and traditions that are shared in a company and govern the rational behavior of its members; culture unites the members of an organization.

In the culture of an organization, the attitudes, behaviors and values that employees must have are projected, which constitutes the basis of business performance, which is why knowledge, measurement and optimization of it is so important when it comes to managing and being able to achieve the objectives optimally, it has been shown in various investigations and experiences that there is a relationship between organizational culture and job performance, that is, organizational culture and job performance are closely related.

In the same way, the performance of a worker will depend on the degree of knowledge of the culture in the organization, it is there where a great effort must be placed to nurture each worker of the culture and that of course the culture of the organization is aligned to the achievement of objectives effectively.

A company that maintains a productive labor performance will be able to count on optimal levels of production and profitability, and as a company becomes more profitable, it will also be profitable for workers to work there, taking into account the culture of fair and conscious remuneration towards collaborators.

It is always pertinent to read the social psychologist and teacher, Edgar Shein he tells us that organizational culture has 3 levels of knowledge:

  • Artifacts: you can see, hear and feel. Values: it is aimed at goals, strategies and philosophy. Shared beliefs: it is the essence, and they help to understand why things happen in a particular way.

When analyzing and learning from an organizational culture, it is highly recommended to investigate and understand these three levels.

Organizational culture facilitates the generation of commitment to something greater than a person's personal interest as well as serving as a factor of control and good sense that guides and models the attitudes and behavior of employees

Making the organization more efficient and competitive is a goal of business management, which is why it is necessary to have adequate management and knowledge of the organizational culture and make it add to the success of everyone in the company.
