The key to exchanging an ordinary life for AN EXTRAORDINARY LIFE

Yesterday morning, I attended an adventure that has moved me a lot: I have been invited to give a presentation to some 35 young people of 20 years of age, of more than 28 nationalities, in the celebration of the IV International Camp for Peace, by the Rotary Club of Maspalomas.
The objective is to sow concerns in them with the spirit of leadership and peace, since they are our future leaders, businessmen, professionals, those who are going to take care of our society, so that they begin to develop activities in their community "right now".
I have been very lucky to go to meet them and tell them what I practice: "How to enhance your performance". When they proposed it to me, I was very excited, because I thought of myself when I was that age; and I wish they had explained to me the things that I have transmitted to them today. Just to show me that this existed, definitely in my 20s, it would have changed my life completely.
One of the things we have talked about has been about a requirement for an ordinary life to become an EXTRAORDINARY life: the MISSION.
As I mentioned to the kids, any company or organization worth its salt today has developed a mission known to all of its employees and that directs its operation. If the most successful companies in the world have a mission, with much more reason people have to be guided by our own.
The advantages of creating a Personal Mission are as follows:
- It becomes the daily guide, in all areas, that serves as a frame of reference and facilitates decision-making. It ensures that we are continually attending to the things that really matter to us, and it helps us to let go of everything. that which is less relevant and absorbs our energy and dedication By forcing us to review our patterns, and confirm that they conform to our most intimate values (and not those created by others for us), it reaffirms our personal freedom, with the feeling of lightness and openness that this entails.It guarantees personal leadership, which is essential to be able to lead others. Because if we are not capable of giving meaning and inspiration to our own life, how are we going to be able to give it to others and get them to follow us? To fulfill the personal mission is to live a personal success, a satisfaction that is feel deep within each one, and it is the most gratifying of all possible successes. By living it daily, it keeps us in constant desire to eat the world.
As you can see, there are so many and so powerful reasons to carry our personal mission burned into our minds that I encourage you to feel today, if you don't have it, to start outlining your own; And in the event that you have already written it, to check that you are on the route or on the contrary, it may be convenient that you consider a new one.
All highly efficient people have their personal mission very clear. What I observe in them, and now in me since I am applying it, is an illusion and an emotion that fills us every day with a claw and a contagious enthusiasm, as a result of everything expressed above.
