Wealth: a noble desire

Anonim

If a group of people were asked to make a list of the noble things or desires that they wanted to achieve or obtain, it is very likely that money and wealth would not appear on that list, and in the best of cases it would be in last place.

Why?

Because from childhood we have been taught to believe that poverty is a kind of virtue and that it is definitely not a noble goal to want to be rich. Sometimes I have the feeling that in the world there is a World Association against wealth whose objective is to defend tooth and nail their right to be poor… but honest!

Every person in a situation of poverty and scarcity has a vague (or explicit) feeling of virtue or benevolence invariably linked to their condition of poverty. And we have learned that from the inadvertent programming that we get mostly from the media and organized religions.

And so, from childhood we began our journey through conformism and resignation to "the unequal distribution of wealth" in which we are taught ad nauseam that 10% of the population has 90% of the wealth.

But as true as this statement may be, the transmission of these postulates from generation to generation has done us more harm than good.

At no time that I recall is taught that we can all become rich and prosperous. In my opinion, the value of general culture has been overestimated, and training for success and wealth has been given a null and unfair place.

Have any of you been lucky enough to have a teacher to teach you the keys to getting money?

I don't think so, because the teachers almost invariably struggled as hard as anyone to make ends meet.

Agree: our young people have all the right in the world to know how our capitalist system works, to know where the money with which their parents pay for school comes from, to know the machinery of private ownership of the means of production and everything. the rest, but they also have the right to know how to take advantage of that information and above all to know how the hell to get out of the base of the pyramid, and they are never taught that!

I propose a new subject for all colleges and schools in the world: Prosperity and Success.

This subject should not only be taught but should be high on the priority list of every educational establishment in every city and every town that aspires to become a prosperous and joyful society rather than a resentful and deathly boring one.

I got off topic…

As I was saying, obtaining wealth is a noble goal. In fact I do not know one more noble than wealth. When you have a firm goal of financial freedom and you go for it knowing that you can (this is what the kids would be taught in my ideal school) your life makes such a positive change that it affects every person around you.

Since all lasting change begins from within, then the true benefit to society occurs when you change, your neighbor, your partner, and your friend.

Each person working for their own benefit (yes, selfishness is also a virtue!) And inevitably you become a more useful and necessary person for society.

In the beginning, your mere presence overshadows any place where you are, you are happy, that is what you radiate and with that happiness you affect every person you come across.

Later, when you have achieved your noble goal of being rich and having money, you can help your neighbor in the way that you deem most convenient. You can donate, lend, sponsor, build a school, an entire city, start companies and provide employment… you are useful to a large number of people while still being productive for yourself and for society.

If you really want to achieve your dreams and if at any time you have thought about helping your community with your own resources, wealth and prosperity should be at the top of your list.

Is wealth on your noble wish list?

I wish you success and prosperity.
