Transactional Leadership

Burns (1987). He thinks that the leader is transactional in most cases, he simply changes the safety and a pleasant work environment, for the direction of the school and this greatly satisfies the teachers and students.
Transformational Leadership
He is the leader who sets goals and objectives in an attempt to make his follower leader.
PERFORMANCE
They are more charismatic, build loyalty to the school, inspire respect, and are able to know what is most important, which usually translates into a mission.
They provide opportunities and create a school culture that encourages and develops staff growth.
Discerns, understands, conceptualizes and enunciates before all the actors of the cloister, the possibilities and threats that the organization faces, as well as its strengths and weaknesses and its competitive advantages.
Participatory Leadership
Participating involves collaborating with others to achieve a common goal, sharing working methods and team decisions. Participating is critically and constructively committing to a collective task.
An essential element for participation to exist is the group, turned into a team.
