Why do I consider that, at present, it is a challenge to be an executive, to occupy positions and positions of responsibility, leadership and power?

If we make history, the woman, her biological and psychological conception was formed through history.

That gender mark, still rooted in our deepest beliefs from what is phylogenetically inherited, establishes a strict and difficult framework to bear.

If we think about how women began to integrate other aspects that are not just doing household chores in their home, we can draw our conclusions.

Then the possibility of being a teacher, another field of teaching that allowed her to start traveling another path of development. Then the nursing career, with the purpose that the woman would learn to take better care of her family.

This is a long journey.

We must add the aspects of guilt that women have for leaving their home to go out to the job market.

In these times, where the postmodern world rushes relentlessly, what is the role of women?

Who else would be capable of producing changes than the one that has gone through countless aspects and fields. The one that has ductility to accommodate different areas, the one that contains affectively, that helps to get ahead.

Who more than the woman prepared to guide, educate and help the development and advancement of others?

The woman leader, today, must fight against some aspects that harm her.

And to be a little synthetic in this analysis, which goes a long way, I could highlight that the aspects that are needed today in companies, especially those that are in a state of deep crisis, economic and human values, have to do with female leadership and its remarkable characteristics.

The woman leader has the ability to motivate and due to her ability to call, stimulate participation and self-esteem. Different studies found that women conceive leadership as a means of transformation towards their subordinates, apply their abilities through interpersonal and motivational relationships to transform individualistic interest into a collective interest guided towards the company as a whole.

On the one hand, as a result of the greater participation of women in all areas, and on the other, by discovering, a little late, that businesses or companies would do well to take it into account because it is the decision-maker regarding basic items of family: health, education, property and even in the purchase of cars, in addition to the usual consumption of food, cleaning, cosmetics or clothing.

Something like that women show greater "chances" to exercise a different leadership. That it has qualities that make it more permeable to emotional climates, conflict management, horizontality, networking, thinking about the development of people and their human needs, complementarity, compassion, caring for planet and commitment and responsibility.

For this reason it is a challenge to be a leader today as a woman.

In this situation where dehumanization took over almost all aspects of life in companies, who better than a woman to be able to put a different touch, be able to broaden the horizon of solutions and open a new path towards achieving different results, including the people who form the business system, as essential human beings for the growth and support of the organization.
