The pillars for personal decision making

Anonim

Sometimes we wonder if there are pillars to make decisions in the life of every human being. Usually, after doubts, thoughts come to us that bring us closer to understanding what we value in life. Perhaps the key to our first pillar is over there.

With this article we want to share an idea of what for us could be considered as that pillar. From education we believe that "personal growth" can be a key to this. When we make simple or complex decisions, we understand that we are analyzing between two or more options, and we must choose between any of them for it to be effective.

In that sense, choosing one option leaves out the others even for a moment. This process that moves us away from one option and brings us closer to another can be more beneficial if we have a beacon that guides our actions. Having where to go, approaching a personal project, speeds up the process of making a decision and allows us to act with greater determination in that instance.

"We realize that new and different things appear all the time that stand in our way, against which the resources and strategies that served us to achieve a certain result begin to lose effectiveness." Muradep (2013)

Seeking personal growth behind every decision we make is a possibility, it is a pillar. They may say that it is difficult, they may say that it is impossible, but from our training we understand that it is more difficult to make decisions when you do not know where you want to go. And when we actually know what the goal we want to achieve is, the process is simpler. The key, we understand, is to determine first of all what we want for our life. After that, we figure out how to achieve it.
