As at the beginning of any production process, the classification of waste is essential to minimize those risks that arise when transferring hazardous waste to a management system. This classification can be according to its danger, origin, state, etc.

It is important to remember that the responsibility for the comprehensive management of hazardous waste corresponds to the generator. In the event that it contracts the services of a third party that has official authorizations, the responsibility for the operations will be the service provider.
