Introduction

The main objective of the following proposal is to present an alternative for the prevention and treatment of obesity through EXERCISE ROUTINES AS PART OF THE TREATMENT IN THE OBESE ADULT, since currently the statistical figure is significant in the Mexican Population. The WHO reports that there are 475 million obese people in the world. The Federal Ministry of Health tells us that Mexico ranks second in adult obesity in the world and the Federal District Health Services refers to 3.1 million obese people. Risk factors for this disease are known, such as an increase in a hypercaloric and hyperglucid diet, an excessive increase in fat and a substantial decrease in foods rich in fiber, as well as a sedentary lifestyle, among others.

The ordering of the present methodology is addressed by obesity as a metabolic, chronic and heterogeneous disease, determining characteristics such as the biochemical interaction with genetic factors, alterations that express phenotypes, environment, diet, supplementation and other acting factors. (etiology).

Likewise, expressive obesity and its comorbidities with other pathologies, conditions that force us to take into account the need for effective and safe treatments through effective exercise management mainly, as well as a good natural and nutritious diet, based on good habits, where the context of comprehensive health is sought.

From a medical point of view, obesity is defined as excess adipose tissue in a person, which is one of the tissues that make up the human body. From a cultural point of view, obesity is the observation that a person has a larger volume than the average of other people. It is also one of the world's major problems that contribute to increasing morbidity and mortality, especially in the long term in both men and women. On the other hand, there is growing evidence that our population is, above all, obese adults, increasingly sedentary and that a healthy lifestyle depends on physical activity and good nutrition. There is also some evidence that there is a growing interest in physical activity, exercise performance, and nutrition in some population groups.

Development of the topic

Physical exercise is an important part of the treatment of obesity since it reduces the amount of body fat during constant practice, along with a diet restricted in fatty, hyperglycid foods, etc. Therefore, I consider that an extra opportunity should be provided to these patients to adopt this proposal. As a health professional, I am sure that using mechanical instruments placed on the public highway will benefit their health.

Proposal

Considering that going to gyms or places where physical activity is carried out implies an expense that is currently difficult to accept, my proposal is:

"Use the mechanical equipment placed in gardens on public roads in the open air"

Required staff:

  • PhysicianNutriologistPhysical education teachersFamilyHealth authorities and the SEP

How I will develop it:

1.-Promotion of physical activity in the designated places.

2.- Coordinate with the SEP and the Health Sector. To form the team of professionals to intervene such as:

2.1 Interns in Medicine, Physical Education, Nutrition and Bariatricians.

As well as the exercise routine to be carried out.

Another staff proposal: request support from volunteer instructors from Sports Clubs

3.- family members to intervene in the stimulation of their family member and to establish in their family the plate of good eating.

In this way, the participation of students from different schools or public establishments will be used and encouraged.
