The Government of the State of Chiapas has proposed to establish the original meaning of the function of public security that the State must guarantee to the population, whose premise is to protect and serve society under the principles of legality, efficiency and professionalism.
Thus, in Chiapas, public security is consolidated as a State policy that summons everyone, civil society and authorities, and links them together in a common front against violence and crime, through the concerted coordination of all the authorities that concur in federalism., in the institutional work, which assumes as a premise the co-responsibility between the three levels of government to guarantee the full validity of the rule of law.
