The project is aimed at generating spaces for participation and agreement, where the student members of the School Municipalities will develop leadership capacities and will be integrated into a process of involvement in the existing problems for the sustainable development of education in their district jurisdictions and in the provincial and regional levels; that leads them to proposals and alternative solutions that are binding on the policies of their Educational Institutions, Local Governments and Social Collectives.
WORK STRATEGY:
- The strategy includes bi-monthly meetings of the School Municipalities at the district level to develop a thematic agenda previously established by a Technical Team made up of the entities responsible for this project. These meetings will have the characteristics of a workshop and specialized exhibitions on the topic discussed. The product of the meetings will be materialized in a jointly numbered Joint Declaration of School Municipalities, which proposes the binding nature of the opinions and / or proposals to the Local Government, UGEL Islay, Educational Institutions and other organizations
POTENTIAL LINES OF FUTURE DEVELOPMENT:
- This project, after evaluating the results and achieving goals, foresees the proposal to hold the 1st Provincial Meeting of School Municipalities, which for the first time aims to bring together all the members of the School Municipalities in an event that Socialize your experiences and allow the strengthening of your developed leadership capacities.
