objective

Implement orientation and academic strategies to keep students motivated until the end of their goal, that is, until they obtain their university degree from the “Diego Rivera” School of Professional Studies.

Methodology

This research is descriptive, consisting of: search, through a questionnaire, to identify the general characteristics of the students who are studying from the first semester to the sixth semester of Bachelor's degrees in Computer Science, Administration and Accounting Superior School of Professional Studies "Diego Rivera". Based on the information obtained, the aim is to identify academic risk factors associated with the learning of these students, in order to establish the respective action strategies.

Since learning is one of the most important factors in the education of every human being in society. Therefore, here is the concern of knowing the factors that affect learning, the following variables are being taken into account in our sample subject to research: economic resources; parents' divorces; Motivation is lacking on the part of parents, teachers, and probably some of their respective partners.

Taking into account that the students, because their time is occupied in: working, learning, performing tasks, the student does not have much time.

issue

How do the factors affect: lack of financial resources, divorce from parents and lack of motivation in student learning?

Hypothesis

Economic resources. From the beginning of man, he has always been concerned with satisfying all his needs and all his desires, the economic resources in the case of the student because also apart from working he has to study a profession to improve his way of living in the future not too far away. This does not have the necessary time to work full time and earn more money, to live somewhat loosely, this in parentheses, because if you do it without having the concern of improving both in preparation through learning, as well as economically, you will have a less comfortable life. It is laudable that if the man prepares himself professionally comes an economic improvement.

Divorces from their parents. We meet on occasions that some students who come from dysfunctional homes, that is, who will only have in their life as a child, and adolescence the figure of one of the parents. This can have emotional consequences in the life of a person that in some cases require the help of a professional. This is that he will suffer from the absence of one of the parents, he will observe that other children or adolescents have their respective parents and he or she will see that they do not have the same position as those who have both parents, and reflection is made not It will only suffer from the company of both parents, but also the economic part, because it is not the same situation where two salaries come in or one alone, but the family is together so they will share everything as a family.

Lack of motivation. This lack of motivation comes from home for people who have such problems, because a motivated person has unconditional support from their parents, when they are of school age, apart from the support of their parents, they have the support of their teachers this when teachers like their profession. Unfortunately, you do not always have the ideal model, because you do not always have the support of parents, the reason is not because they do not want to support their children, but because they do not know how to do it, due to the low culture, preparation, desire or interest that they have some parents, towards their children. Some students already have responsibilities such as making the decision to study when they are parents, here the support of the couple is required,Of course some students have agreements and their partner supports them and in other situations they are completely alone, sometimes they even get a divorce.

These factors are the reason why some students with low learning performance are observed: due to lack of financial resources, divorce from their parents, and lack of motivation.

Sometimes it is observed that, despite having the best professional wishes, availability of time and economic resources to devote to study, this does not mean that it is a good indicator of the use mainly of factors related to the organization of time, the lack of learning habits and techniques that are appropriate for the student; as well as the maximum support of the teachers, that allow a better learning; The student's decision is very important, that is to say, he must have a fervent desire to love, start and reach the goal of professional preparation. Of course it is not easy to decide as a first point, as a second point already within the development of your respective study; this is that, after making such a decision, what the work entails: such as preparing:homework, tests, assignments, presentations for their development of public speaking, among others.

To do these things requires self-will, give up some things such as entertainment for example: while studying for an exam or preparing a presentation, our family is probably going to a party, or a picnic, etc.

These studies were carried out with forty students from first to sixth semester at the undergraduate level.

It also requires motivation, good treatment, and making them participate in certain matters where necessary, making them feel that they are human beings.

On the other hand, it is obvious that those with the greatest problems are on the street, that is, they do not study, dedicating themselves to their work, without any motivation, the desire to prepare for the improvement of a decent life.

The objective of the School is to train honest, positive, hard-working, honest professionals, capable of solving any type of problem that may arise in their respective field of work.

According to the results obtained with the application of the questionnaire to a population of 40 students, the final result tells us that the strongest problem is the economic situation in 95%, the second problem is motivation but with respect to their respective partner in 62.5%, however, this may be because some students are not married and have no partner; With reference to their teachers, most of the students feel supported and motivated by their teachers, and thirdly, the divorce problem is located in 67% of the total population of the “Diego Rivera” Higher School of Professional Studies.

"… seek knowledge, both by study and by faith" (D&C 88: 118). "… study and learn, and become familiar with all good books and with languages, languages, and peoples" (D&C 90:15). "Diligently acquire wisdom and find the truth" (D&C 97: 1).

Learning scholars say the following: "… positive attitudes and motivation are related to learning success…", Dr. H. Gardner and

'… the question is whether students are more motivated because they are successful, or if they are successful because they are more motivated… ', Peter Skehan.

Establishment of Strategies

Principals: The principals have made the decision to continue with their preventive strategies and if necessary to implement corrective strategies, however it is expected that they will always be preventive, to maintain quality in the school for the good of the student in general, since the school is private.

Teachers:

1. Teaching training for new teachers.

2. Motivation of the teacher towards the student.

3. Development of teaching skills.

4. Exercise of teaching leadership.

On behalf of all the staff: Continue with their efforts to continue providing the student with an environment: pleasant, positive, comfortable, reliable, among others, in their teaching and, consequently, quality learning.

Students: Students are suggested the following:

Boy K. Packer's Tips for Personal Learning.

1. Get up early. When getting up early, rested, the student has a disciplined body.

2. Study. This means that it is necessary to review the class received so that when an evaluation is made, the mind is ready.

3. Listen. Listen to those who have experience

4. Meditate or analyze. For a better understanding it is suggested to carry out meditation or analysis.

5. Be punctual. If this discipline is acquired, it means that you have respect for yourself and others. Because it does not distract or distract others.

6. Be diligent. Willingness to do what is due with precision, speed, and interest; it means that there is own responsibility.

7. Taking advantage of opportunities. “Marion D. Hanks spoke of the power to make the most of our opportunities to learn and told an anecdote about Louis Agassiz, a distinguished naturalist, who was approached one day by a single woman, assuring her that she had never had a chance to learn anything. In response, Dr. Agassiz asked him to consider the opportunities he already had. "

Teachers and students:

1. Team work. Regarding learning, it is important to know how to carry out team activities, and sometimes in a personalized way.

2. Empathy. Seek empathy between teacher and student.

3. Common objective. Teaching-learning objective.

These are the strategies that have been taken for their establishment in the school, for the support and motivation of the students in the academic aspect, which is what the school can do for their respective students. In the area of economic situation, it is personal to each of the students.
