“The job market or job market is made up of job offers or jobs offered by organizations in a certain place or at a certain time. It is basically defined by organizations and their employment opportunities ”(Chiavenato, 2007)

Job boards are key tools for locating potential jobs, they help us when searching for a job.

Although, the conditions, forms and job search are not the same in any part of the Mexican Republic (this is mentioned because they are not based under the same conditions of job search in border areas, tourist areas, rural areas, among others) this time we will talk about the tourist area, in particular the Riviera Maya located in the state of Quintana Roo.

In the aforementioned area, the supply of jobs in the operative category as well as in the administrative and managerial category is abundant, mainly by the hotel zone (which is one of the most offering sources of employment) but it is also possible to find employment in a diversity of companies established throughout the state, but with a greater presence in the municipalities of Cozumel, Benito Juárez, Solidaridad and Tulum.

"The human resources market is constituted by the group of people suitable for work in a certain place and at a certain time" (Chiavenato, 2007)

Given the current state of technology, it is very common to find many candidates through new forms of talent search, which are through some social networks, job websites, among others. However, old forms of job search, such as newspaper job sections, radio job announcements, acquaintance recommendation, among others, should not be neglected.

We are currently in the age of technology, where you can buy any variety of items online to filter confidential information from government agencies with high security standards. It goes without saying that the job search also needs to innovate along with technology. Recruitment and selection of personnel has to adapt to the new trends in the labor market, some techniques that for years were totally effective need to present an innovation or will be completely obsolete. Just as innovation is needed in some recruitment and selection techniques, in the same way new trends in personnel search are born.

"The sources of recruitment are the areas of the human resources market explored by the recruitment mechanisms" (Chiavenato, 2007)

Today, a wide variety of recruitment sources are handled, from newspaper vacancies to headhunting or even other new trends.

Each and every one of the ways of recruiting staff are valid and effective, of course, with a remarkable difference: the turn of the company. For some organizations, mass recruitment through newspaper publications may work for them, but for others it is not useful at all and they prefer digital recruitment.

The following is a list and categorization of the ways to get employment at present within the tourist area of the Riviera Maya in the state of Quintana Roo. Job boards

The observation is made that some job boards need to create a profile in order to have greater access to the information of the offering company. In the case of social networks, it is managed through groups created on Facebook for job information and specifically LinkedIn is a network to connect with other people and possible job offers without neglecting the option of being able to be visited by a recruiter who is interested in your skills.

In the case of newspapers, a printed purchase is necessary because in order to access them through the internet, a subscription is required. The Government normally invests heavily in the dissemination of job fairs and in the case of the state employment service, it is left the address of its offices.
