Education Management. overcoming the paradigm: because of you, because of you ... because of your great fault

Anonim

Developing my Educational Management class, on the new paradigms or thought models that we must develop today. He mentioned the thought of "the fault is yours, you are to blame or because of you I am like this".

Without a doubt it is the thought of dependency and reaction that does not allow proactive action, let alone our inner growth. The consequences, always waiting for the action of others, and that, to feel good, I need someone's opinion. If that did not happen, the situation will always be the same, the change that I need will not occur and that we all finally need.

The new thinking demands shared responsibility, where each one assumes his responsibility, understanding that each one is part of the system, an approach with which the integral solution of a problem must be approached. I emphasize, comprehensive solution under a systemic approach.

Each one has a degree of responsibility for the situation that has occurred, that must be raised.

In a business, for example, if the client stops going or buying regularly, under the new approach I must first know the causes, and in that list of causes, the company does not exclude itself from the problem, it “does not take off” as commonly it is said and done.

The same occurs in the teaching-learning process, when in the process one party blames the other for the results. "I don't understand or I don't learn because of the teacher," says the student. And on the other hand, the teacher's version "the student does not understand or learn because of her."

Nothing more wrong the attitude of both, that has to end.

The change will occur when both parties acknowledge their responsibility. Each one takes charge of their actions and develops the necessary changes so that the results are positive and different, all within a shared vision or common vision.

Developing awareness is our mission. First start with ours. There are two ways to raise awareness, the good or the bad.

In this eagerness, I made my students see the various problems that have been occurring in our context and that we have not yet had to live through. I don't want it to happen to you and I don't want it to happen to me! Please tell others! Let us understand that, when changing the reactive attitude for the proactive one, the probability of occurrence and consequence of the problems will decrease, but it will not be eliminated. There will always be risk.

Let's replace the classic thought with "Because of you, because of you, because of my great fault", "Because of me, because of me, because of your great fault". Let's stop blaming ourselves, let's learn to solve problems with maturity, teamwork and cooperative work. Let us understand once and for all that we are part of the problem and also of the solution itself.

Finally, let's understand what Plutarco said in his time "the soul of the student is not a glass that fills, but a lamp that lights", likewise we awaken the interest of the students for their true role: to reflect, organize, reason and improve. Expand and develop. Learn with the help of your teacher and the help of your classmates, who know a little more.
