  • Functionalist Approach, conceives competence as the ability to execute tasks; Behavioral Approach, conceives competence concentrates on personal attributes (attitudes, abilities), and Holistic Approach, conceives competence including the previous two.

COMPETENCES AT THE BUSINESS LEVEL

BACKGROUND: The known experiences regarding the implementation of competency systems at the company level indicate that they are based on applications of the "Behavioral Approach".
