This work addresses content related to the development of physical abilities in boys and girls, served by the Educate your Child program and the need for an adequate evaluation of it, based on the importance and influence of physical activity for its further development and preparation.

Therefore, a proposal of indicators is presented that are added, for the use of executors and family members, that allow to evaluate with greater precision the impact of this program and the level of physical development achieved by boys and girls, it is also suggested a group of exercises that will contribute to the successful fulfillment of these indicators, ensuring that the level of development of the children in the program is equal to those of the children's institution, since the objective of this program is to prepare children who do not attend to children's institutions for the beginning of their school life, and physical education occupies an important place since the child acquires different skills, these create the bases for their development, taking into account that the Educate your child program has a great influence on the sphere, both physical and intellectual of children.

Through the application of these exercises it was found that the children of the program are sufficiently prepared to perform them, so that the children of the program can be evaluated by these indicators, which are very similar to those of children's institutions, being able to appreciate that the promoters and technicians who attend this program are sufficiently prepared to deliver the activity with great quality.

Introduction

The preschool stage is the period where the initial formation of the child's personality takes place, which is why it constitutes the first link of communist education, which aims at the multilateral and harmonious development of boys and girls. It is necessary to create the right conditions for the development of knowledge, habits and skills that can later contribute to the development of your personality.

Due to the importance of education from the earliest ages, the Cuban State has given priority to programs and alternatives that allow giving educational attention to boys and girls between these ages, both through institutions, in day care centers, and non-institutional through the Educate your child program. This is organized in order to contribute to teaching, as a prioritized program, it takes on special importance in the development of the different areas and within this, Physical Education, which occupies an important place in the development system of the preschool child.

It is precisely at this age, when the foundations for good health are laid, for a correct physical development and for a high efficiency of the organism in preschool children, activities are developed within the development area such as gymnastics, programmed activity, games movement and independent motor activities.

"The family is a legendary sea foam from which beauty is born."

Educate your child is a social program, designed to prepare families of non-institutionalized children, in relation to a system of educational actions that promotes the fulfillment of their educational function. It is based on the structuring of community work, with a systematic and intersectoral character.

The essential foundation of this program was the structuring of a community work that combined the different factors of the territory under the leadership of Education in carrying out educational actions with a systematic character: Public Health, Culture, Sports, the FMC, the CDR, the Peasant Associations, unions and the mass media, a group made up of the aforementioned factors was organized at the territorial level, coordinated by the municipal Education Directorate, whose operation was characterized by its participation in a territorial plan but with a very specific content in correspondence with the work carried out by each organism, this guaranteed coherence and harmony in the actions of all to achieve the common objective:implement the different modalities of non-formal initial education in the community.

Due to the importance of this program for the preparation of these families, the issue has become a priority of the Ministry of Education. Thus, it is appropriate to cite the priorities of Preschool Education for the 2007 - 2008 academic year where it refers to the program: "The work in this course will be aimed at raising the quality of the educational process in Infant Circles, Preschool Grades located in Schools Primary schools and in the Educate Your Child Program, as an essential condition to achieve the maximum development in boys ⁄ girls and as a result their optimal preparation for school learning and from this premise the priorities of Preschool Education are declared, among which It is “The preparation of the family and its active participation in the educational process, as well as intersectorality.Since the family as well as the executor will be able to evaluate their children at the end of each year of life, taking into account that the program is aimed at the family so that it works with the child at home.

Development

In Cuban society at this time it is urgent to carry out educational and family orientation work where each of its members consciously educate boys and girls in the different spheres of knowledge. Precisely, the Educate your Child program, aimed at the family, is made up of a collection of 9 brochures describing the characteristics by age and their content, covering four fundamental areas of development: communicative, affective, intellectual, motor skills and the formation of habits. As well as the development achievements so that the executors and parents can assess the level of development achieved by the boys and girls at the end of each year of life.

The results achieved in the diagnostic studies that are carried out each year in the country and in our Municipality, specifically during the evaluation of the impact of this program, which is currently being carried out on the effectiveness of work in the different modalities, particularly in the Physical sphere, show that generally the "Educate your child" program encourages the Physical development of children of early and preschool age in this regard, however there are achievements that are affected in the different years of life because they are not the same. precise enough by not focusing properly, in addition,There is not a total correspondence between the achievements established in the program of the children's institution and those projected in the brochures of the Educate your child program where all the essential contents are not taken into account, which requires special attention and concretion in such a way that this enables a preparation similar to that which the child receives in the infant institution.

Evaluating the above, it is proposed to add other indicators that allow the impact of this program on the Physical development of children to be evaluated with greater precision compared to those who attend the Children's Institution. Well, the comprehensive training to which we aspire demands that special attention be paid to the teaching of skills as the richest instrument for the physical development of children.

When referring to Physical activity, it is essential to first know what Physical Exercise is.

When analyzing the concept "Physical Exercise" it is appreciated that the higher category is exercise that constitutes the fundamental means for the development of capacities, habits and abilities, therefore, when defining the concept of Physical exercise, it is expressed as a systematically repeated motor act that it constitutes a main means to carry out the tasks of physical education and sports and that materializes in the forms of Gymnastics, Games or Sports.

The development of physical activity that makes it possible for boys and girls to achieve true preparation in the motor sphere, since this should be the maximum aspiration of promoters, educators and fundamentally of those who attend preschool education both through institutional channels as non-institutional, as well as from the family itself, as this stage lays the foundations and guarantees the child's preparation for their future performance in school and in life.

The Educate your Child program takes into account the development of the physical and intellectual sphere and within it the physical development of the child, where a series of achievements are determined in the different years, aimed at the development of the same, which enables the executor and the family to evaluate the development achieved.

However, from the impact evaluation that is currently being carried out, it is necessary to incorporate indicators, in order to achieve a more precise and concrete evaluation of physical development in young children and to establish a total correspondence between the demands of the parameters to be measured in relation to the developmental achievements established in the Educate Your Child Program with respect to those established in the Children's Institution program. Looking for an assessment and follow-up in each of the aspects to be evaluated.

To establish the added indicators, a meticulous and detailed study of the developmental achievements that appear in the brochures of the Educate Your Child Program, those that are established for children's institutions, and those that are reflected in the instrument were carried out. oriented by MINED to apply in monitoring.

It was also valued what the preschool-age child has to have achieved when graduating from the grade by matching those aspects that are measured at this stage, so on this basis and taking into account the characteristics of the stage and of each year in particular, as well as the essential elements that are addressed in these programs, is that it was determined to incorporate the following indicators that at no time are directed, to change what is established, but, to achieve a total correspondence, greater specificity and precision in the Physical and Its adequate evaluation in correspondence with the essential and necessary contents for each year and stage in the children attended by the Educates your Child Program with respect to those who attend the Children's Institution.

The main contribution of this research is the preparation exercise system for the children of the Educate your child program that will allow to enhance the preparation of families to carry out activities that stimulate the Physical development of the children of the program in relation to those of children's institutions.

The main novelty of this proposal lies in the strategic approach that is assumed to solve the problem being addressed, guided by the general characteristics of the program in relation to children's institutions, hence its practical value.

Proposal of indicators that are added to evaluate the level of development of Physical education

  • 1 year of life Subgroup 9 to 12. Walks with uncoordinated movements. 2 years of life. Walk on board and line on the floor. Climbs even horizontal plane with support of the whole body. 3 years of life. Throws and rolls ball towards objects that are at close range.

Successful compliance with the different proposed indicators requires the orientation of various actions to be carried out by the executors and the family itself. That is why they also break down the following suggestions of exercises to execute.

Exercises

  1. Show the child objects toys that sound so that he walks and tries to reach it. Place the child on a ribbed board to walk on top of it.
