Education in Peru is bleeding to death. reflection

Anonim

It is a shame to say that the topic of Peruvian education today revolves around the evaluation of the PISA test. Our education must go beyond results. If we compare Peruvian education with another educational system, the other country will always be better. Therefore, we must take into account our educational reality.

It is true: wanting to compete and obtain good results, and these make it clear to us the essential education for students.

Everyone talks about the infrastructure, the poorly trained and poorly paid teacher; that is true who can deny it. But who observes the reality or the deficit of our education?

I do not know if it has ever happened to him, he comes home and asks his relative how have you been in the classes?, and he extends a statement to you where he mentions that during the week he is going to stay one or two more hours of each day to make up and reinforce for the next assessments that the State will take from the students. One as a family member is left thinking, is this proposal right or not? In itself, what is the purpose, only to fulfill the missing hours and prepare the student for the evaluation that the state takes from time to time, and observe their fictitious or manipulated results. What about the students? What about our human capital? that she will replace the generations that are ceasing to carry out their work. What about them? It is true that growth models exempt the importance of human capital with respect to economic growth. In a few years, if we do not worry about our human capital, we will hire professionals from neighboring countries. What about ours? Just as professionals from other countries can come to work in our country, because ours cannot practice in the same way. What about ours?We must stop the very poor teaching in schools, we must stop providing education subject to an evaluation that hurts us so much. You have to leave the chimera evaluation that is only a mirage of reality.

Our human capital is bleeding to death, since the quality of education is being overshadowed by the fetishism of politics based on a sector, distributing educational texts prepared for a sector, I leave you this question: Does Peru cover a range of culture, language, tradition? I say this, now that we do distributing texts poor in content prepared by professionals who are not pedagogues by profession, what about the curriculum, sometimes it is possible to think that he is a great Frankenstein, since they take different theories, models to be able to place our reality that is different from the others.

So I ask, what about the teachers? What about the polis? Let's take responsibility. We teachers give quality teaching and the cops are under surveillance.

Let's save our education, we have to be heroes. As Héctor went out to fight with Aquiles to protect his beloved Troy, we teachers and the cops may be Héctor, and our beloved Troy may be our Peruvian education linked to each one of the students.

And it is necessary, finally, to cite an expression that Luis Jaime Cisneros mentioned: “The school is not a field of wage earners; he is the alma mater of childhood: that is, the nurturing mother of the students. If she does not ensure good food quality, no one will be surprised that the international results are what they show (…) "
