The present Work, which we have called MANUAL; Its purpose is to show the different applications of the Work Study Techniques, with special emphasis on the Work Measurement Techniques, applied to the Administration Synthesis in the different areas of the company:
- PLANNING, ORGANIZATION, DIRECTION, CONTROL.
And to be able to see in this way that the standard time plays a very important role within any organization, which can be applied to any work area.
What we must always remember is that the Standard Time can not only be applied to Human Resources, but is also applicable to Technological Resources as well as Financial Resources.
CONSIDERATIONS.
IMPORTANT ASPECTS.
- The idea of not presenting a part called Theoretical Framework is that the theory is handled within the body of the work before presenting the examples. To present this work professionally, it is first necessary to establish the way to write it. The suggestion is that it be in the infinitive and in an impersonal way, including the prologue. Try to be concise and clear in said wording. Check the content and remove, add and / or change the order whatever is convenient. divide this must be done as soon as possible to have time to review it and standardize so that this division in the work is not noticed. We believe that we should have the body of work before going to the company to know specifically what we are looking for. The body would be the justification, purpose, concepts and appendices,so that after the visit we can complete the exercises, the prologue, the introduction and refine the details of all the work to take it for review before finally delivering it. Check the format and remove or add.
JUSTIFICATION.
This manual owes its existence to the need to establish the necessary steps for the application of Work Study techniques, specifically Work Measurement to Business Administration.
The techniques presented here correspond to the level of a student in the fourth semester of the Industrial Engineering career at UPIICSA.
Given that it is impossible to generalize this methodology to apply it to any Industry, due to the large number of turns of industrial organizations and also due to the lack of experience of the authors of this manual, it is decided to focus the study on TUTSI, waiting that it is useful to said company and, although these are specific cases, that it serves the future Industrial Engineer to solve problems that may arise in his professional life based on the aforementioned techniques and using the problems solved here.

To anticipate this study, it is first necessary to remember the basic definitions and establish the relationship between management and the study of work, specifically, the measurement of work.
The etymological definition of the word Administration is made up of the prefix “ad”, which means towards and “minister”, a word that in turn comes from “minister” which means inferiority and “ter”, which is a term of comparison.

The manual is focused on providing information of superior value through the application of the knowledge of work measurement, acquired in class, and its relationship with the different stages of administration.
Based on the foregoing, the following aspects are recognized:

It is important to emphasize the importance of the establishment of time standards in the administration, because before making the manual we had many questions about the relationship between them. With this with all certainty, we can affirm that the measurement of work is a strategy to eliminate downtime and to be able to forecast, plan, control and better organize work activities.
Therefore, the objective is met, what stands out is the establishment of work plans, within the planning, to know:
What is going to be done or manufactured, the essential operations to carry out the work, the quantities, the facilities, tools and equipment necessary, the kind of labor available and what is required, the time foreseen for each operation and the proportion of necessary facilities and tools that will be available.
