Businesses developed and run by human beings are organizations that have life and are therefore constantly changing; either by their development or by change in the environment where they operate; and, in order not to succumb, they are obliged to change or disappear.

Within this premise, of change management, the main objective of this is to modify the behavior of people within organizations; These people are the reason why companies live or die, either by what they do or stop doing.

To generate these changes, there are programs or plans that are aimed at modifying behaviors in order to improve decision-making, both group and individual.

The approaches are varied, in the organizational change, these will allow to generate the transformation that an organization wants. Here are some of them: feedback from surveys, team building, process consulting, quality of life programs at work, change in organizational culture, Management by Objectives, changes in tasks and technology, change in organizational design and change in business strategy.

Some elements to take into account to promote changes are the possible effects that may be derived from it, such as:

1. The reaction to change, as such, when a company variable is modified.

2. The change is interpreted from individual and group perspectives; perception.

3. The Hawthorne effect, which indicates that people modify their behavior when they are observed, but it is a variable that cannot be controlled.

4. Homeostasis refers to the fact that people will seek their equilibrium point in response to changes in the organization.

Now, consider the resistance, natural behavior of each human being to defend themselves against possible threats, often of logical reason and others unfounded by cultural, social or political elements. This becomes the greatest challenge that organizations will face when suggesting changes and that these generate the expected results.

So first we will have to analyze what we identify in our organization if we want to implement changes, and second, fight to change the mental paradigms that are rooted and that in the end generate resistance, preventing us from achieving the success we want for our company.
