The following text contains a small approach to business administration, aiming to expose the basic conceptual elements that make up this activity. Mainly, some fundamental concepts to understand administration will be reviewed, and they provide theoretical elements to the reader to build a basic cognitive ideology. These concepts are: Company, administration and resources. Finally, a synthesis will be carried out that accounts for everything reviewed.
DEFINITION OF THE COMPANY
According to Hernández (2006), the term company is derived from the word undertake, which means starting big and difficult things (p. 12).
Although the concept of company has evolved over time, there is a debate regarding its use as a synonym for organization.
