New approach to my attitude, towards the value of "my client"

Anonim

Days ago, developing my customer service class at a major business school, my students heard me say that I have two particular concepts of customer. Approaches that attracted his attention due to the reflection that was made on the value we give to people in general and that often generate limitations for our development and for us to make our way into professional, family, social and work life by not achieving balance and harmony.

The first concept, which I call the simple or classic version of the client, my client is the person who uses a service from the company where I work and for which I am paid to serve him well. Attention that must be guaranteed because that is how they evaluate me, that is how the rules require it and that is how they are emphasizing it, and if I do not comply simply and simply they call my attention and if the case is repetitive there will be no more contracts.

We can see that, according to this version, there is an obligation that we must comply with, since there are cameras, customer surveys that measure the impact of my service and the satisfaction or dissatisfaction that it generates. It is, of course, as consideration, the money and the services they give me, contemplated in the pay slip that I receive at the end of the month. Without a doubt there is nothing wrong because I comply and they comply with me.

However, I wonder, what happens with our attention, our dedication and dedication to people who have nothing to do with the company when I am already outside working hours, outside my study center and I am no longer being evaluated, anymore the cameras are not focused on my work or activity, and there is no longer any external control they exert over me. Will these people receive the same quality of care that I provide in the company?

This is where I want to focus my attention and give value to this article with a second customer concept and which I call, a strategic or extended customer version.

According to this version, the client is any person with whom we surround ourselves permanently or sporadically and who has the right to feel good about me and I have the duty to make them feel that way. Of course I am referring to the following people, my wife or husband, my neighbor or neighbor, my friend, my mother or father, my uncle or aunt, any passerby who asks me a question, among others. In other words, any of the people with whom we interact in different areas of life.

I want to share some reflections that were made in that class, that serve as input and then develop a commitment and understanding about the following: Everything that is done well with good, brings good situations at the right time. Opportunity that we must seek from today to live better and for others to also enjoy as one.

Here are these contributions, I invite you to reflect on these and I wish you the best!

  • Everyone with whom we interact should receive the best of us. We must act with integrity and responsibility wherever, with whoever and at any time. Opportunities present themselves anytime, anywhere. You have to look for these opportunities. My image is important to make my way in life, the opinion of others if we should care. It is important to receive help from others, we cannot move forward alone. We would advance with limitations and we would not get very far. I need your help! This is assertive thinking. The mission of human beings on earth is to serve others. If I do not live to serve, I do not serve to live. Today the employer is interested in the good behavior of the collaborator inside and outside the company. They check it with the 360 ° Evaluation. Everything starts or starts from the inside. The path of growth and development is first inside and then outside. I cannot give what I do not have. The quality of life has to do with the balance of our areas of life, we must find this balance.

Until next time, dear or dear reader!
