Why is a coach necessary?

One wonders what is coaching and what does a coach do?

We differentiate a couple of positions that are similar, one is to teach coaching classes and a very different one is to face a coaching process to help people and human groups and be "the coach" of those people.

One manages to be "the coach of a human group" after a lot of work, sweat, discouragement, leadership, successes and acceptance. And it is not always achieved. You have to have a lot of talent, rigor, strength and dedication to deal with other people's demons, as well as to turn the other cheek again and again.

Being a coach is not giving a speech or a class. As also, to be a teacher, the years go by and then he is remembered for his deeds, once the plant grew and gave its fruit…

In the times "of the here and now" and in the position of "adult", we cannot wait long, things must happen now, not to say "now"

As in all professional activities, there are several schools and coaching is no exception, since it is a very empirical activity, and therefore there is an opinion and a method for each case.

A powerful but ineffective way, in my opinion, is one in which the coach assumes the position of adviser of ideas, so that his coachee is motivated, gets ahead and adopts a proactive attitude when faced with challenge or difficulty. -Not bad at all, we all need advice at times, but in essence, this is not coaching-

This strategy or reactive mechanism -it is due to the lack of experience of the coach where a mechanic / psychologist is simulated where he offers answers to each question of his consulted person. A replacement for worn out ideas.

Understanding that the reason of the coach, nor that of the psychologist, is not to sell answers but to design them with their trainee on the occasion of the context that is being lived.

It can't always be done, as people pretend magic things or too many quick`s.

This classroom or desk coaching is subtle, it is for the coach to show off himself. But impractical in the end result.

Or as a sui generis consumption of something new and eccentric, then you hear people say: “you know, I'm doing coaching”, that's good !!! And you like it? …How do you feel?

The passive position or method without activity involved, makes their clients fall in love or fascinate, but sooner or later the patriotic harangue is not effective, if there is no mobilization and desire for a true change.

Despite this, coaches have better methods and ideas than other life and soul learning science professionals.
