In this present essay we will cover what is related to the Educational Reform, answering the questions How does it arise? What is it due to? And what does it consist of? from your own opinion.
Background
The first reform in the field of education was in 1992 in the six-year term of Miguel de la Madrid and intensified in the six-year term of Carlos Salinas, which is carried out due to the various social changes that occur at that time, and currently by the same reason this year for Enrique Peña Nieto who thus seeks to achieve quality education and true learning of the people in Mexico.
Development
To begin, we must first define what is educational reform?
The Educational Reform is a constitutional reform that is presented by the President of the Republic, Enrique Peña Nieto this year.
Now, it consists of seeking the improvement of education in the country, being the State who will be in charge of the methods used to achieve said improvement in education, speaking of the school organization, the suitability of teachers, the educational infrastructure and educational materials.
Educational reform is one of the most talked about topics this year, due to all that controversy that has shaped the disagreement specifically on the suitability of teachers, mentioned above, since it is not fair that they have to be evaluated and / or trained.
But what is true of educational reform?
Although, as I mentioned before, the methods that will be used to improve education in the country cause conflict because it highlights the mismanagement that has been given to resources in terms of education. The truth is that the educational reform exists and will be present, the reason is that the teachers have to be evaluated, this reform should have been done for many years, but as always the administration, control and supervision have not been present.
The Educational Reform is nothing more than a tool, in my opinion, since this way the problem that Mexico has been dragging for many years can be cut at once, and for that, this reform proposes an evaluation for teachers in order to measure how competent teachers are to teach classes in the appropriate way, according to the result of this evaluation, it will be dictated whether or not it is necessary for the teacher to be taught, some courses or training, that is where many teachers enter into this confusion in thinking that they will be dismissed from their positions, perhaps due to lack of information or dialogue.
And it is that the future of the country is in the hands of the new generations, who require a quality education in order to make the change. What is sought with the educational reform is the learning of children, since education is a right, which must be respected, and for this it is necessary that the teacher is qualified in order to provide knowledge to their students.
The answer to all this may be the way in which education is administered in the country, perhaps it is necessary to provide more resources in educational matters, which in the end, I think, is the most important thing for a country to be able to progress. Dedicate the time and effort it deserves in order to advance, better train teachers, improve the condition of classrooms, provide the necessary resources to advance technologically, promote and support scientific research since in Mexico, as anywhere in the world there is potential. Only it is not supported as it should be.
It is only hoped that this reform will not be obsolete or that it will only be applied for a time, this has to be constant. As time goes by, both technology and society itself change, so you have to be at the forefront, do what you have to do in order to have a decent education for Mexicans.
Conclusions
For my point of view, the Educational Reform must have arrived a long time ago, because for many generations a deficient education has been imparted within the country, that is why it has not been able to progress, there is little resource that the government has destined for education and from the beginning it is something that must change, as for evaluations it is a good tool to be able to know which teacher does deserve their position within teaching. Because at the end of all that matters is the education of the children of the new generations.
