3.- SANTA ISABEL in 2010 is a progressive canton with an equitable development of services and infrastructure within the framework of environmental management and the active participation of civil society through its organizations. The basis of this process is diversified production oriented to sustainable agriculture, irrigation technology, the development of ecotourism, and an extensive microenterprise infrastructure.
