Teestudy: persevere and you will succeed

Anonim

I want to tell you something that happened at the closing of a prestigious school in Lima on December 30, 2010. It was approximately 10:45 am. The closing ceremony of the 2010 school year was taking place in the school's main courtyard. This courtyard had no roof and it was very sunny. Due to the high temperature and the bright sun, I was sweating and the sun was causing a certain headache. One could only think at that moment when the whole ceremony would end, since it was so sunny. Which is natural since no one likes tanning in the sun. I was wearing a jacket and tie. They will understand that the sun was not friendly at all.

According to the closing program, the authorities were giving their speeches of honor. However, something very interesting and motivating happened that surprised me. The first three places in the 5th year of high school were awarded. The efforts of these guys paid off. Not only were they awarded their diplomas of honor but also a gold medal and the sum of US $ 500 for the first place: Paolo Rosado. US $ 200 and US $ 100 were awarded for the second and third places.

Until that moment of the awards, I was calm. I said to myself, well the ceremony is very nice and well organized. However, something happened that surprised me and reminded me of my student years in college and university. At that moment I remembered the many times that I had to study late into the night to pass a subject and spend the year in college or all the sacrifice that finishing college demanded. Also, I remembered that thanks to Teestudy's Study Techniques I was able to graduate with an A in my studies.

All these mixed feelings and my imagination began to fly and I remembered my student days. All of this began with the words of Paolo Rosado. The school authorities asked Paolo to provide a few words. Paolo was a boy of about 17 years old. He was a thin young man, not very tall, not very stocky but with great spiritual strength and with many dreams.

Paolo said: “Everyone in life has problems but we have to be persistent and never stop fighting to achieve our dreams. There are always stones in the way and we must overcome them. You see me now as the first place in the school. But I had a lot of trouble getting to where I am now. However, I never gave up and pushed myself for this first place. "

I am sure that the phrases of this little young man allow us to understand that every effort has its reward. It does not matter that you do not have financial resources and have family problems. Life is not fair and there are always stones in the way. The important thing is that we have a clear goal and fight to make it happen.

I'm sure many of us have had large walls or rocks along the way that keep us from reaching our goals. However, you must have great spiritual strength and you must visualize your dreams to overcome any problems you have along the way.

I hope that these words and the case of Paolo help you achieve your personal and professional plans for the year 2011.
