Work means well-being

Anonim

As the old adage goes "work dignifies." This statement is totally true since by doing a job we can develop our intellect and our physical and mental abilities. By practicing an activity that requires our effort, we are helping ourselves to be better and feel good and very happy for what has been done.

With work we express what we feel, what we long for, we can express our ideas, we develop the creativity and knowledge that we have and increasingly we become important human beings for our family as well as for the society in which we live.

We discover who we are and what we can contribute to the well-being of everything that surrounds us.

For all of us, it is of the utmost importance to carry out a job, to know that something is being done with which it helps the development of the work site where we are and personal development. This is how the lack of employment or the loss of it, means a great disappointment and great frustration for the person who is in any of these situations.

We have always had rights as well as obligations. We have the right to vote, to express ourselves freely (sometimes this is not the case), to have a family, etc. Work being a basic human need, it also becomes a right and that is why all the nations of the world (especially the Latin American ones) fight against growing unemployment and the factors that produce it.

However, sometimes (as we discussed in previous articles) having a job does not mean satisfaction but quite the opposite: a heavy burden which we carry out of necessity to earn a salary and where we do not have the possibility of developing our intellect and knowledge..

For this reason, the State, the companies and ourselves must be concerned, because the performance of a task allows the total development of all our potentialities, desires, dreams and characteristics that define us as people.

Organizations are obliged to give everything necessary so that their workers have the opportunity to fulfill themselves as individuals, establishing strategies where the individual's own capacities and the work that they are going to carry out coincide. For example, do not place a person with many studies and leadership skills, as a driver, or a person who is not prepared, as General Manager.

The capacities and knowledge of each person within the organization must be studied so that they are correctly located and have the possibility of pursuing a career within the company, which allows them to grow both as a person and as a professional. This will lead to a balance of both objectives and needs between the organization and the individual.

Let us remember that achieving the objectives of an employee are the same as those of the company, will cause an increase in the commitment of both the worker and the company and will ensure that the tasks are carried out correctly, with total pleasure and always seeking to increase the benefit of the company that will also be that of the individual.

It is essential that within the company follow-ups and evaluations of the work done are carried out since this will determine the effectiveness and efficiency of the employees and if they are doing their work motivated or simply as an obligation. The goal is to ensure that workers are always engaged and happy with what they do.

To end:

We can say that knowing well the people you have and helping them for their development in every way are very important functions that all companies of the new millennium must perform, if they want to survive and be completely successful.
